Each year thousands of fans arrive at Sydney Motorsport Park for the annual World Time Attack Challenge. WTAC is the highest attended event at Sydney Motorsport Park even more than the Sydney Supersprint round of Supercars. But it’s more than just a race. Spectators can get up close to legendary race cars off-track and see them in action on-track.

In 2017 World Time Attack Challenge was live streamed to 48 countries worldwide and watched by just under 1,000,000 viewers. The event was also broadcast on free-to-air TV as part of the SBS Speedweek show to a national audience of 409,591 people as well as a 1-hour special on Fox Sports. WTAC partnered with Mazda Australia to bring,the historic LeMans Mazda 767B from Japan to WTAC 2014. The activation included both an on-track component and a Mazda branded display in the paddock. Volkswagen invited a team of top apprentices from their dealer network to prepare a V6 Amarok faster than their Golf GTi. WTAC worked on a partnership with Toyota as Beau Yates rebuilt his Toyota Genuine Parts Drift Car to be unveiled at WTAC 2016.
