Day 2: Sofia – Plovdiv - Rose Valley After breakfast, make your way towards Plovdiv, also known as the “City of the seven hills’’. The easiest way is by train or bus, which takes about 2 - 3 hours /depending on the transportation/. You will be greeted by your private guide for the day, who will take you on a wonderful trail, exploring major highlights of Bulgaria. Walking through Plovdiv you will get to know this ancient city, founded by Philip of Macedonia - the father of Alexander the Great.
