Since 2017, we coordinate a Mexfitec together with Colima University, gathering 2 other French institutions and 4 Mexican ones. We have been pleased to host Mexican students since then, to welcome some of the mexican institutions representatives, and to send one of our researchers to give lectures and workshop on the smart city (Karim Beddiar in 2018- In Colima). We now aim at developing new schemes of cooperation in a close future, maybe dual degrees and at reinforcing our ongoing fruitful cooperation.

Mexico has been an important region for our international strategy. We currently have over 10 partner universities and the cooperation continues to grow with an increasing number of students from Mexico coming to study in Lille and an increasing number of our French students studying in Mexico. We hope to build on these partnerships and continue to promote the student mobility options between France and Mexico while finding new partnerships and new programs.
