MF-59 – “G8 - June 2013”

The 39th G8 Summit will be held in , in . The G8 is a forum for the world’s wealthiest nations with the current membership consisting of the Heads of Government of , , , , USA, , and UK. Essential security measures will involve the use of airborne assets. A secure air corridor 20nm wide with a max altitude of 20,000ft ASL will be established into -Aldergrove airport. This approach corridor, North West to South East will be patrolled by Platinum aircraft. There will also be a secure shuttle between Belfast and the conference site in Enniskillen and city patrols at both Belfast and Enniskillen.
