Before ioining the faculty here , he worked with Montana Repertory Theatre, and in New York where he operated his own summer stock theatres , directing and produc ing over forty productions. On the west coast, Mr. O 'Rourk e designed for the Seattle Reperto ry and worked with ABC and CBS Television. He toured nationally with James Whitmore in "Wi ll Rogers, U .S.A." and has also completed a lecture tour with TV personality Dick Cavett. A graduate of California University at San Francisco and Fresno , Mr . O'Rourke has previously taught at Arizona State Uni versity and the University of Montana . On tour and stock he has done dozens of other shows and in recent years has appeared in FOLLIES, 1776 and THE SUNSHINE BOYS. Mr . Alda achieved motion picture fame as the sensitive George Gerswin in RHAPS ODY IN BLUE and subsequently starred in such films as NORA PREN TISS, TWO GUYS AND A GAL, MR. UNIV ERSE, HOMICIDE, APRIL SHOWERS and IMITATION OF LIFE among others. He also starred in several Italian films and was awarded the Golden Wing Award, Italy's top theatrical honor for his performance in the musical LA PADRONA DI RAGGIO DI LUNA. Most recent films include I WILL I WILL, FOR NOW, THE HOUSE OF EXORCISM and BITTER SWEET LOVE now in release. Mr. Alda's career has encompassed every phase of the entertainment world. He has starred in television, having appeared on practically all the top dramatic shows-POLICE STORY, KOJAK, INVISIBLE MAN, ELLERY QUEEN, NAME OF THE GAME, QUINCY, as well as the variety and talk shows and comedy such as LUCY SHOW, RHODA, PHYLLIS, THE TONY RANDALL SHOW and M 0''A'°'S0~H with his son Alan. He has had his own radio shows both local and network, and has appeared in night clubs around the world. In recent years, he has appeared all over America in various roles in tours and stock in musicals as well as straight plays. Antony Alda ( Detective Sergeant Trotter) is the third generation of Alda's. Robert Alda and his sons Alan and Antony , though separated by a generation each, have no "generation gap". Antony started his career at the tender age of 9, doing the pilot film for THREE CO INS IN THE FOUNTAIN and was so good ~s the young Italian boy that Walt Disney Studios cast him in two one-hour flims as another Italian boy. After 'that, he had to convince directors that he could speak without an accent for a guest starring role in a segment of DANIEL BOONE . Work took the Alda family to Rome and Antony went to high school there and majored in Drama and English. Following high school, Antony was able to continue his training with Rome's English speaking Theatre appearing in productions of ROOM SERVICE, THE CAINE MUTINY and ROSENCRANTZ AND GUIL DENSTERN . He returned to New York and studied music theory and composition at the Juilliard School of Music for the next two years. He has just completed his first album in which he composed music and lyrics, played all five instrument s as well as sing the songs and is now shopping for a label. Recently, he has done guest appearances on SWITCH , A YEAR AT THE TOP, and a movie of the week for CBS, THE :BLACKJACK HIJACK. Last summer she appeared at The American Stage Festival in Milford , New Hampshire portraying Tituba in THE CRUCIBLE, Rosa in TWELFTH NIGHT, and also served as the producers assistant. Ms. Garcia de signed costumes for CALIGULA with Leonard Nimoy and was costume assistant for the 1975 fall semester. She has worked in all facets of theat re at St. Edward 's including costume design , light board operat or, Hou se Manager , and Stage Manager. Felipe Macias ( Giles Ralston) a Theatre Arts major from El Paso, Texas, is making his fourth appearance on the Mary Moody stage. Last season, he portrayed Silvio in A SERVANT TO TWO MASTERS and also appeared in THE SERPENT and A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE with William Smith. Xavier Troy ( Christopher Wren) a sophomore Theatre Arts major from Houston, Texas, was last seen in the FANTASTICKS with John Carradine and Sherri Spillane . He has also appeared in such musicals as OLIVER, OKLAHOMA! , GREASE and THE BOYFRIEND. Christi Lemmon ( Mrs . Boyle) a junior theatre arts major from Virginia Beach, Virginia portrayed Eunice in A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE with William Smith. She has also appeared in Virginia produc tions of DEATH TAKES A HOLI DAY, ARMS AND THE MAN and THE TRIALS OF SUSAN B. ANTHONY. Shelley Chester (Miss Casewell) a senior Theatre Arts major from Denver , Colorado recently completed the first senior acting recital. She has participated in all phases of theatre since coming to St. Edward's, appearing with Sal Mineo, Mercedes Mc Cambridge, Leif Erickson and was chosen as stand-in for Miss Eileen Heckart in THE CORN IS GREEN. Ms. Chester also appeared as one of the narrators in the experimental production, THE SERPENT, and was last seen as Ginny Baker in POOR RICHARD.. Timothy Macht (Mr. Paravicini) a sophomore Theatre Arts major from Brush , Colorado last appeared on the Northern stage with John Carradine and Sherri Spillane, as Mortimer in THE FANTASTICKS. He has worked in various theatres in Colorado and appeared in productions of INHERIT THE WIND, CHARLEY'S AUNT, THE MURDERS IN THE RUE MORGUE, and THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK.
