The organizing committee of the AMPICON 2021 Welcomes you to participate in the 42nd Annual National Conference of Association of Medical Physicists of India (AMPICON 2021), which is being organized by Healthcare Global Enterprises, Bengaluru and Association of Medical Physicists of India - Karnataka Chapter at Bengaluru – “The Silicon valley of India” from 12th – 14th November 2021 at NIMHANS Convention Centre, Hosur Main Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka. The theme of the conference is” Articial Intelligence – An Emerging Trend in Medical Physics”.

The term 'Bangalore' is an adapted version of "Bengaluru," a Kannada term. The word "Bengaluru" was in turn derived from the phrase 'bende kaalu ooru' meaning 'the town of boiled beans'. Modern-Bengaluru was begun in 1537 by Kempe Gowda I of the Vijayanagara Empire. Bengaluru is located in southern India and is known for its pleasant climate throughout the year. The greenery, broad streets and the presence of parks such as Lal Bagh and Cubbon Park makes it "Garden City of India". Bengaluru is also referred as the "Silicon Valley of India" or the "IT capital of India" because of its role as the nation's leading information technology (IT). Bengaluru ’s airport connects most of the major cities across the country. A lot of International ights are also operated from here. The city is well connected by rail and roads to all parts of the country.

The diversity of the cuisine available is reective of the social and economic diversity of Bengaluru . South Indian, North Indian, Arabic food, Chinese and Western fast food are all very popular in the city. Bengaluru can also be called a foodie's paradise because of its vast varieties of foods and edibles with a touch of Bengaluru's uniqueness and tradition. Bengaluru has an active night culture and is also referred to by many as the "Pub Capital of India".

We are aware that Articial Intelligence (AI) is emerging in the eld of Medical Physics. With technology and evidence driven transformation , AI has augmented the transition from generalized to personalized treatment. AMPICON 2021 will cover the different aspects and applications of AI in Medical Physics. About Venue The state-of-the-art NIMHANS Convention Centre offers exceptional facilities for conferences, seminars, trade shows, expositions, and media events. The Centre houses three auditoriums with advanced amenities and seating capacities ranging from 150 to 850. The Centre also has good dining hall with ample parking facility. The venue hosted many national and international events regularly.

Conference Venue is well accessible from all parts of the city. Transport in Bengaluru consists of several intra-city commute modes such as BMTC buses, Namma Metro, taxis and auto rickshaws.
