Tips for Student Success

10. ATTEND CLASS 5. BE ORGANIZE, PLAN AHEAD

The day you miss class is the day you miss something Cramming test is not good. Check your class important. Make sure you catch and make up what schedules ahead, be prepared. Mark important dates you missed. on a calendar

9. STUDY EVERY DAY. 4. CHECK EMAIL ON REGULAR BASIS

You should be studying 2 hours for every hour in class 3. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR GRADES

8. TALK TO YOUR PROFESSORS Always knowing your grades gives you an idea of how well you are doing in the class. Use their Office Hours. Shows professor you want to be active and want to understand 2. Hope your first week of school went well and hopefully everyone had a safe commute to campus! We have a number of great events starting off with our “Meet and Greet” on September 6th and our Commuter Connectors are very excited to meet all of you once again! Be sure to email your connectors if you have any questions, concerns, or even event ideas. Remember the connectors are here to serve you.

Something new we have this year is the Commuter Incentive Program. You can earn points by attending Commuter Connector and CAOS events, emailing & meeting your Commuter Connector mentor, “liking” our Facebook page, and much more. These points do add up! At the end of the semester, these points can be redeemed for cool prizes.

Be sure to check your email for future events we are planning, as well as, meeting one on one with your Commuter Connector.
