Lighthouse Book of the Week: Jesus In You There’s something inside us that could be described as a “sacred place within,” or, more appropriately, a “sacred presence within.” With this in mind, we are forced to ask, “Who or what is this sacred presence, and does it exist in everyone regardless of race, culture, or even religious beliefs?” In Jesus In You: The Indwelling of the Trinity in the Souls of the Just, Mark Miravalle takes on these and other pertinent questions about Christ living within us. He also puts forth the challenge to be honest and courageous enough to ask the life- changing question: “What’s inside of me?” Parish Announcements Sunday, October 23, 2016 5

Fall 40 Days for Life Come pray for just an hour and save a LIFE!

From September 28 to November 6, our community will take part in 40 Days for Life- -a groundbreaking, coordinated international mobilization. We pray that, with God’s help, this will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city--and beyond.

Our local 40 Days for Life prayer vigil will offer immediate and practical help to women facing an unexpected pregnancy and share the love and mercy of Jesus Christ. This continuous peaceful, prayerful vigil will be held at Women’s Health Specialists, 1442 Ethan Way in Sacramento from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.

You are invited to come by for an hour or two and join others at the site. Read more at www.40daysforlife.com/sacramento. For information, call Carol at 916.521.1974. 8 Sunday, October 23, 2016
