Day 1

AM Flight from UK to Moscow PM Transfer to your hotel City tour by night Day 2

Full day in Moscow including:  Red Square one of Moscow's – and 's – most iconic landmarks  Kremlin Territory -a chance to explore inside this 15th Century fortress, and visit one of Russia's most important Royal Cathedrals  Bunker 703 a declassified network of nuclear bunkers dating back to the Cold War Day 3

Full day in Moscow including:  Gulag Museum a modern multimedia learning centre and memorial to the millions who perished as ‘enemies of the people’.  Metro Tour a chance to explore some of Moscow's unique and beautiful metro stations  Old Arbat Street one of the oldest surviving streets of the Russian capital Evening Transfer to station for the overnight train to St Petersburg Day 4

AM Breakfast at the Park Inn Nevsky St Petersburg City tour PM Museum of Artillery an exhibition of weapons dating all the way back to the Stone Age which includes the armoured car which Lenin rode in from the Station Museum of Soviet Arcade Games 40 or so original video arcade games from the 1970's and 80's period that focus on hand to eye coordination, rational thinking and reaction speed. Day 5

AM Full day in St Petersburg including:  guided tour of the Hermitage Museum, one of the largest and finest art galleries in the world, located within the historic Winter Palace  Museum of History of Political Police which traces the history of Russian political police before, during and after the Revolution

 Nevsky Prospekt the main street in St. Petersburg and the most famous street in Russia PM Visit the Smolny Institute which in 1917 became the headquarters for the Bolshevik Central Committee and the Petrograd Soviet and from where, Trotsky and Lenin directed the , Day 6

AM Get an alternative view on modern Russian history with a guided tour of the Political History of Russia Museum PM Transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK
