Dear Monroe Township School Community, This Messenger issue reflects a time before my arrival but I can attest to the kindness, generosity of time, and willingness of the Monroe community to give of themselves to a better purpose. All this while proceeding through a pandemic. At MTPS it is important to recognize that each and every child brings value to our classroom, and that we bear great responsibility to ensure they feel safe and welcomed (by our staff and our students). We believe that modeling and teaching students how to be kind and respectful to others can make a positive impact in our school communities. We will continue to promote kindness, compassion and respect for others. In light of our current challenges, it is important that all of us remember to bring kindness, patience, and flexibility to our interactions. The challenges brought on by the pandemic and life in general are not easy, but we will support each other. I want to thank all of our staff, our students, and our parents/guardians for applying the virtues of kindness in conversations, communications, and interactions of all kinds.

But St. Petersburg’s three centuries have matured its material authenticity, recognizable tableaux and unique urban narratives, chiefly the Petersburg Text. The three of these, intertwined in their formation and development, created a distinctive place-identity. The aura arising from this distinctiveness functioned as a marketable code not only for St. Petersburg’s heritage industry, but also for a future-oriented engagement with post-Soviet hypercapitalism. Reflecting on both up-to-date scholarship and the actual cityscapes themselves, my dissertation will focus on the imaginative landscapes in the historic center of St.

ISBN : 0399112626 Foreword IN MARCH, 1917, Lenin was living in Zurich in poverty, the exiled head of a small extremist revolutionary party that had relatively little following even within Russia. Eight months later, he assumed the rule of 160,000,000 people occupying one-sixth of the inhabited surface of the world. The Sealed Train is the story of those thirty-four fantastic weeks. The train itself and the bizarre journey across Germany, then at war with Russia, are a vital and dramatic link in the story. For without the train, Lenin could not have reached St. Petersburg when he did, and if Lenin had not returned to Russia, the history of the world would have been very different. For not one of his comrades had the sense of timing, the strength of will, the mental agility, the subtle understanding of the ever-changing mood of the people and the sheer intellectual power of Lenin.

[Please note that all the footnotes in this document have been added by the translator & editor – none of them appeared in the original document] The Structure of the RAF July-August 1976 What follows are the statements of two of twenty-five RAF prisoners who commented on the structure of the RAF to counter the hysterical clichés which were developed through the use of the bought-off State security witness, Gerhard Müller1, as part of the State’s campaign of psychological warfare. “Statement of Brigitte Mohnhaupt in Stammheim on 22-07-76”2 Brigitte Mohnhaupt (BM) - …Obviously it is idiotic to say student, because that has been the case for all of us and it is in the past. One can only answer, “nothing of the sort.” The second point is that I won't answer any questions from you, from the court, from the Federal Prosecution. That would be absurd. That is not the kind of relationship we have. The exact term for the relationship between us and the court, and the justice system, and the Federal Prosecution, is war, and the clearest expression of that is that four of us are dead, assassinated as prisoners. So, there is absolutely no possibility of discussion here, at this level. Why then do we do it, after everything that has happened? Why do we come here? Why do we participate in the trial?... Theodor Prinzing 3 (TP) - No, that's not the objective. The relationship… BM - Yes, that is part of it. And that's only the beginning; I want to start now with what I intend to say here, and I have no intention of listening to your nonsense.
