Communiqué De Presse 19 JANVIER 2013 Monte­Carlo Historique: 5 belinettes to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Alpine­Renault’s one­two­three finish in 1973 Renault Classic to contest the Rallye Monte­Carlo Historique for third straight year. The 2013 Rallye Monte­Carlo Historique provides a first class opportunity to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Alpine­Renault’s one­two­three finish on the real thing in 1973. That triumph, led by Jean­Claude Andruet and his lady co­driver ‘Biche’, paved the way for Alpine­Renault’s Manufacturers’ crown at the end of the inaugural World Rally Championship in 1973. Five Alpine A110 Berlinettes have been entered by Team Renault Classic with a driver line­up that includes the winner of the 1973 Rallye Monte­Carlo, as well as Jean Ragnotti, Jean Vinatier and Alain Serpaggi. This entry also celebrates the revival of the Alpine brand, as announced in November 2012. The event starts on January 27 in Reims, France, and ends in Monaco on February 1. Renault Classic will be out in force for the 16th Rallye Monte­Carlo Historique with a field of no fewer than five Alpine­Renault A110 Berlinettes. The team’s start­studded crew line­up features: ­ N°01: Jean­Vinatier / Jean­François Jacob (A110 1300) ­ N°15: Carlos Tavares / Jean Pascal Dauce (A110 1300) ­ N°18: Jean­Claude Andruet / ‘Biche’ (A110 1600S) ­ N°21: Alain Serpaggi / Jean­Pierre Prévost (A110 1300) ­ N°36: Jean Ragnotti / Francis Mercier (A110 1800 groupe 4) Team Renault Classic’s five crews will start from Reims, France, on Sunday, January 27. The route visits French towns Valence and Gap en route to the finish in Monaco on February 1. Renault’s participation in this event for the third year running is a fitting opportunity to celebrate the brand’s numerous wins and successes in 1973, including: ­ Victory for Andruet/Biche on the Rallye Monte­Carlo. ­ A one­two­three finish for Alpine­Renault on the Rallye Monte­Carlo. ­ The World Rally Championship Manufacturers’ title for Alpine­Renault. The participation of these five Berlinettes also coincides with Renault’s recent, long­awaited announcement of the Alpine brand’s revival last November. About the drivers Jean VINATIER (co­driver: Jean­François JACOB) Jean Vinatier was Renault’s first factory driver. He drove for the make from 1964 until 1971 and his principal victories include the 1964 Tour de Corse in a Renault 8 Gordini. For the 2016 edition, Renault Classic is entering three factory Alpines. They will be entrusted to top­class drivers who have previously competed for the marque in the Le Mans 24 Hours or else are well known within the motor sport industry.     Communiqué de presse Press release Confidential C ALPINE EXHIBITION AT THE INTERNATIONAL AUTOMOBILE FESTIVAL OF THE INVALIDES: BETWEEN RESTROSPECTIVE AND PROSPECTIVE In 2015 Alpine chose the International Automobile Festival (FAI) to present the Alpine Vision Gran Turismo. In January 2018 the Alpine A110 receives the award for the most beautiful car of the year 2017. In 2020, Alpine chooses the FAI for an exhibition featuring historical, present and fantasized models, whose storyline is a back and forth between two eras and the richness of Alpine’s history as an inexhaustible source of inspiration. For its 3rd participation in the International Automobile Festival of the Invalides(Paris), Alpine has imagined an exhibition of new or little-known models to the general public: the A210 prototype, the Alpine Vision Gran Turismo, the A110 1800 – 1972 Gp4 driven by François Alessandri and Jean Pierre Manzagol, the A110 SportsX, an A110 "berlinette" 1300 of 1971 and the A110S. The A210 prototype In 1966, Alpine launched a new prototype designed exclusively for competition, the A210. It was used between 1966 and 1969 for Alpine's participation in the 24h Le Mans race. It will be victorious in 1966 thanks to the Grandsire/Cella crew and in 1968 with the Andruet/Nicolas crew. The Alpine A210 presented was manufactured in 1967. It has a Renault Gordini type 58 CI engine and is equipped with a Porsche gearbox. Its top speed is 270km/h, established on the Hunaudières straight in 1969. This A210 took part in the 24h Le Mans on June 14th 1969 with the Killy/Wollek crew.

A RENAULT ‘FAMILY’ Jean Rédélé was the first-born son of Madeleine Prieur and Emile Rédélé, a Renault dealer based in Dieppe and a former mechanic of Ferenc Szisz – the first Renault Frères ‘factory driver’, winner of the Grand Prix de la Sarthe in 1906 at Le Mans and runner-up in the Grand Prix de l'A.C.F. in Dieppe in 1907. Louis Renault himself had hired Emile Rédélé right at the beginning of the 20th Century. At the end of the First World War, at the request of Louis Renault, the young Emile Rédélé settled in Dieppe and opened a Renault dealership there in rue Thiers. Two years later, Jean-Emile- Amédée Rédélé was born on May 17, 1922. After completing his studies in Normandy, Jean Rédélé took his Baccalauréat exam during the Second World War and came into contact with people as diverse as Antoine Blondin, Gérard Philipe and Edmond de Rothschild. He chose to be a sub-prefect before settling on a career direction and enrolling at the H.E.C.

    Communiqué de presse Press release Confidential C EXPOSITION ALPINE AU FESTIVAL AUTOMOBILE INTERNATIONAL DES INVALIDES : ENTRE RETROSPECTIVE ET PROSPECTIVE En 2015 Alpine avait choisi le Festival Automobile International (FAI) pour présenter l’Alpine Vision Gran Turismo. En Janvier 2018 l’Alpine A110 reçoit le prix de la plus belle voiture de l’année 2017. En 2020, Alpine choisit à nouveau le FAI pour une exposition mettant en scène des modèles historiques, présents et fantasmés avec pour trame centrale l’histoire d’Alpine comme source d’inspiration inépuisable. Pour sa 3ème participation au Festival Automobile International des Invalides (FAI), Alpine conçoit une exposition regroupant des modèles inédits ou peu connus du grand public : le prototype A210, l’Alpine Vision Gran Turismo, A110 1800 Gp4 – 1972 ex usine, l’A110 SportsX, une A110 « berlinette » 1300 de 1971 et l’A110S. Le prototype A210 En 1966, Alpine lance un nouveau prototype destiné exclusivement à la compétition, l’A210. Cette Alpine sera notamment utilisée entre 1966 et 1969 pour la participation d’Alpine aux 24h Le Mans. Elle sera victorieuse en 1966 grâce à l’équipage Grandsire/Cella ainsi qu’en 1968 avec l’équipage Andruet/Nicolas. L’Alpine A210 présentée a été fabriquée en 1967, elle possède un moteur Renault Gordini type 58 CI et est équipée d’une boite Porsche. Sa vitesse maximale est de 270km/h, établie sur la ligne droite des Hunaudières en 1969. Cette A210 a participé aux 24h Le Mans le 14 juin 1969 avec le binôme Killy/Wollek. Ce modèle sera suivi d’une nouvelle génération de voiture destinée à la compétition : l’A440 et l’A441.
