An important word about your adventure

Our Southern Africa: South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia & Botswana is designed for people who want a different kind of travel experience. We seek out unusual experiences, in out-of-the-way places where ordinary tours don’t go. Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia are developing countries, and the overall quality of travel services is not what you would find in the United States or Europe. The economy and the pace of life are quite different from what we are ac- customed to in North America.

When we are forced to make variations on the itinerary, we make every attempt to use facilities that are equivalent in quality. In particular, we often change our plans in response to animal migration patterns, in order to give you the best possible wildlife viewing.

It will help a great deal for you to bring to the trip an open mind, a sense of humor, flexibility, and a spirit of adventure that allows you to take the unexpected in stride. If you do, you will have a remarkable experience!
