Recognition and Establishment Of Statutory Instrument No. 68 o f 1972 C ustomary C ourts Proclamation, 1961 (No. 19 of 1961) RECOGNITION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF CUSTOMARY COURTS NOTICE, 1972 (Published on the 8th September, 1972) IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 3 (2) of the Customary Courts Proclamation, 1961 and of all other powers thereunto him enabling, His Excellency the President hereby makes the following Notice: — Citation 1 . This Notice may be cited as the Recognition and Establishment of Customary Courts Notice, 1972. Recognition 2. The Customary Courts listed in the second column of the First and "Schedule hereto have by warrant been recognised and established as Establishment of Customary Courts within the district named in the first column of the Custom ary said Schedule. Courts A rea of 3. The area of jurisdiction of each Court shall be the area stated Jurisdiction opposite the Court in the third column of the First Schedule. Jurisdiction 4. The jurisdiction of each Court in respect of civil and criminal matters shall be that indicated by letters opposite its name in the fourth and fifth columns respectively of the First Schedule, which letters refer to the maximum fines, punishments or awards which may be imposed, inflicted or granted by the Court and which are more fully indicated in the Second Schedule hereto. In this stats brief, the reference point of the population projections was the 2011 Population and Housing Census, in which the total population by age and sex is available. Population projections give a picture of what the future size and structure of the population by sex and age might look like. It is based on knowledge of the past trends, and, for the future, on assumptions made for three components of population change being fertility, mortality and migration. The projections are derived from mathematical formulas that use current populations and rates of growth to estimate future populations. The population projections presented is for Cities, Towns and Villages excluding associated localities for the year 2020. Generally, population projections are more accurate for large populations than for small populations and are more accurate for the near future than the distant future.

Antiretroviral therapy (ART) has controlled the HIV/AIDS epidemic and COVID-19 vaccine is expected to ease confusion caused by the pandemic. However, the supply of health-resource falls far short of the demand in resource-constrained countries; thus, decision-making about resource allocation should be discussed. Botswana, as a resource-constrained country with a high prevalence of HIV, needs to construct its own framework for ART allocation. We propose an equitable framework for ART and COVID-19 vaccine allocation in Botswana based upon the egalitarian principle, which provides each individual has an equal chance of receiving them. We use a spa- tial mathematical model of treatment accessibility with an equity objective function, and sequential quadratic programming is used to address the nonlinear programming model. Considering Botswana's current health infrastructure, our strategy brings the most equal health outcomes. However, the disparity of accessibility still exists be- tween rural and urban areas even from our equitable strategy. We present proposals that can increase the accessibility of rural areas using sensitivity analysis.
