Temporary route change King Street service changes during the Toronto International Film Festival 504 304 King 514 Cherry September 8 to 11, 2016 King Street West will be closed between Peter Street and University Avenue from Thursday, September 8 to Sunday, September 11 as Toronto celebrates the 41st Annual Toronto International Film Festival. The road closure requires several changes to the 504 King, 514 Cherry and 304 King night service. 504 King streetcar will be split into east and west sections. There will be no streetcar service between York Street and Charlotte Street. • East section: from Broadview Station, streetcars will travel west on King Street, south on Church Street, west on Wellington Street, north on York Street and east on King Street returning to Broadview Station. • West section: from Dundas West Station, streetcars will travel east on King Street, north on Spadina Avenue, east on Adelaide, south on Charlotte, west on King to Dundas West Station. 504 King supplemental buses will travel as follows: • Eastbound on King Street to Spadina Avenue, north on Spadina Avenue, east on Adelaide Street, south on University Avenue, east on King Street to route. • Westbound: Westbound on King Street to University Avenue, north on University Avenue, west on Richmond Street, south on Spadina Avenue, west on King Street to route. 514 Cherry and 304 (night) streetcar will not be split into sections and will travel as follows: • Eastbound on King Street to Spadina Avenue, north on Spadina Avenue, east on Queen Street, south on Church Street, east on King to route. • Westbound on King Street to York Street, north on York Street to Queen Street, west on Queen to Spadina, south on Spadina, west on King Street to route. 304 King – Bus Bridge from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. • Westbound on King Street, north on University Avenue, west on Richmond Street, south on Spadina Avenue, east on Adelaide Street, south on University Avenue, east on King Street, south on Parliament Street, west on Front Street, north on Sherbourne Street, west on King Street to route.
