Sidney Hall was an engraver and cartographer. He worked at a time when cartography and atlases were very popular, and some of his best works were his maps of the United Kingdom and of the ancient world. A boxed set of celestial cards, entitled 'Urania's Mirror' was published in 1824 by Samuel Leigh of the Strand, London. Hall was the engraver, although the identity of the designer was not disclosed. The images are very similar to those in Alexander Jamieson's 'Celestial Atlas' published two years earlier. Condition Report All unframed and colours are quite good.
