À espera desse novo momento, vou fazer uma analogia entre o que esperamos que ocorra para alcançarmos nosso desenvolvimento e a evolução dos sistemas de ônibus urbanos. Sem investirmos em nós mesmos, por meio do maior conhe- cimento e do trabalho com afinco, fica difícil obtermos resultados positivos e um rendimento que nos coloque em um patamar acima do que estamos. Com o transporte coletivo acontece algo muito semelhante. Se não há investimentos em sua estrutura, não será possível atingir uma condi- ção que há tempos o modal ônibus vem buscando, que é a renovação de sua imagem desgastada perante a opinião pública e aos seus clientes, que estão dei- xando-o em função de novos modelos de mobilidade e, também, por não encon- trar qualidade nos serviços prestados. Que 2020 possa ser o começo das transformações, proporcionando a moderniza- ção dos sistemas e do conceito ônibus urbano, visando um transporte ambiental- mente correto, qualificado, atraente e eficiente. Porém, para isso acontecer, o Antonio Ferro modal precisará ter algo que não vem contando há muito tempo – maior foco dos Editor gestores públicos em suas agendas administrativas. Os sistemas de ônibus precisam ser tratados com igualdade no cotidiano das ci- dades. Necessitam de investimentos para terem prioridade operacional, gerando desempenho e comodidade. Na pauta do desenvolvimento urbano, a evolução do modal tem um significado muito positivo que só trará contribuições para a mobi- lidade. Vamos torcer para que o novo ano traga os ventos da mudança. Para isso, receberá 590 novos ônibus, todos da marca Mercedes- Benz. Os veículos foram adquiridos por quatro operadoras, sendo aproximadamente 320 unidades para a Viação Pioneira, 130 para a Urbi Mobilidade Urbana, 70 para a Auto Viação Marechal e 70 para a Piracicaba- na. As entregas já foram iniciadas e a previsão é que todos os veículos estejam em operação até janeiro de 2020. A montadora faz parte do sistema local de mobilidade coletiva há muitos. Exemplo disso foi a grande renovação de frota em Brasília que aconteceu entre os anos de 2013 e 2014, com o fornecimento de um total de 2.000 ônibus para a cidade. “Foi uma venda histórica e, de lá para cá, a marca se consolidou no Distrito Federal pela confiabilidade e baixo custo operacional que resultaram na venda de quase 600 novos ônibus nessa renovação”, Imagem - Divulgação disse Walter Barbosa, diretor de Vendas e Marketing Ônibus da Mercedes- Benz do Brasil.
