IMAX + NATIONAL MARITIME MUSEUM Joint Excursions Packages 2005 Combine a screening of IMAX Titanic 3D: Ghosts of the Abyss, with a student workshop at the Australian National Maritime Museum. Ideal for HSIE, History and Science. Available for school bookings throughout 2005. IMAX Titanic 3D: Ghosts of the Abyss Academy Award® winning director James Cameron journeys back to the site of his greatest inspiration - the legendary wreck of the Titanic. With a team of the world's foremost historic and marine experts, we embark on an unscripted adventure back to the final grave where nearly 1,500 souls lost their lives. Using state-of-the-art technology developed expressly for this expedition, Cameron and his crew explore virtually the entire ship, inside and out, as never before. The advanced 3D technology allows audiences to experience the journey as if they are part of the dive team, travelling deep below the surface of the ocean and far inside the ghostly shipwreck. Cameron and his team discover amazing images and artifacts that have remained hidden from explorers for over 90 years and then use those images as a doorway into history.
