LA ESTELA DE FERNANDO MARISTANY Y MANUEL DE MONTOLIU EN LA TRADUCCIÓN DE TRES POETAS ALEMANES (NOVALIS, RILKE Y HÖLDERLIN) DURANTE EL SIGLO XX Nuria Gasó Gómez Universitat Pompeu Fabra 2018 Recibido: 14 septiembre 2018 Aceptado: 10 noviembre 2018 Introducción Los autores Novalis, Rainer Maria Rilke y Friedrich Hölderlin gozaron de una interesante recepción en España durante el primer tercio del siglo XX. Quienes desvelaron su obra en el territorio español fueron Fernando Maristany y Manuel de Montoliu, escritores, traductores y bibliófilos que, desde la Editorial Cervantes, propiciaron las primeras lecturas en lengua española de diversos autores extranjeros. La llegada de muchos de aquellos autores tuvo gran repercusión, pues muchos de ellos eran poco o nada conocidos en los tiempos en que se fundó dicho sello editorial. Fue en su sede donde se publicaron las primeras antologías de mejores poetas europeos de los siglos XIX y XX. En 1919, Fernando Maristany asume la labor de realizar una antología Las cien mejores poesías líricas de la lengua alemana. Para la selección poética, se inspira en la edición Die hundert besten Gedichte de la editorial británica Gowans & Grey,(1) donde figuran también los tres autores de los que aquí se tratará. Con la finalidad de seguir difundiendo la obra autores poco conocidos o no traducidos en lengua española, la editorial Cervantes toma la determinación de publicar, entre 1921 y 1923, antologías exentas de algunos autores presentados anteriormente en las antologías generales. Rilke, que figura en la antología lírica alemana de Maristany, fue la excepción, al no contar con volumen exento en la colección. -

Dezember 2010 Schwabenstreiche – Ausfahrten in romantischer Seelenlandschaft mit Kerner, Uhland, Mörike und den Freunden Teil II: Im Gartenhaus Indikativ „Hier kotzte Goethe“. Das schon ziemlich abgeblätterte Schildchen hängt da, als könne es kein Wässerchen trüben, unter einem der Fenster am alten Gebäude gegenüber der Tübinger Stiftskirche. Mit der Tatsache, dass man hier auf jedem zweiten Meter irgendeine geistesgeschichtliche Gedenktafel anbringen könnte, geht man in Tübingen schon lange ironisch um. Dass den Olympier hier vor Ort tatsächlich mal ein Unwohlsein befiel, ist unwahrscheinlich, denn Goethe hat ja seine wilde Studentenzeit nicht in Tübingen verbracht, er war bloß auf der Durchreise mal ein paar Tage hier und fand die Stadt abscheulich. Also hat er womöglich doch...? – Na, egal. Justinus Kerner jedenfalls hat genau dort gewohnt, wo das fatale Täfelchen heute hängt, im sogenannten „Martinianum“, dem ältesten Studentenwohnheim Tübingens. Im 17. Jahrhundert hat die Stiftung dieses große neue Haus bekommen, das dann noch zu Kerners Zeiten „Der Neue Bau“ genannt wurde, und im Neuen Bau wohnen – und vor allem: feiern – bis heute Studenten. 2 „Wer pöbelt, anmacht oder schnorrt, fliegt raus“, steht drinnen auf einer gelben Tür, die eindeutig in eine Art Fetenraum führt, und überhaupt fühlt man sich, sobald man sich durchs quietschende Tor in die Einganshalle zwängt, ganz schnell wieder wie zwanzig: Es riecht atemberaubend nach kaltem Rauch und verschüttetem Bier, dazu Fahrräder, Graffiti und kreischbunt mit Veranstaltungsplakaten gepflasterte Wände, Aufrufe zur Anti-Castor-Demo, Annoncen für freie Zimmer und Yoga-Kurse, Einladungen zum Konzert des Ernst-Bloch-Chors Tübingen, der tapfer gegen die seltsamerweise immer noch vorhandenen schlagenden Studentenverbindungen ansingt – und mittendrin, ein bisschen blass und angenagt, der Grabstein des Stiftungsgründers Martin Plantsch aus dem 16. -
