Four profiles of our superior foam seal are available in standard 10 foot lengths. The flexible dense rubber core can be used as a backing strip for fasteners or run into an existing grooved channel. Latex Foam Seals can be installed with a backing tape. Profiles can be looped and attached or end sealed using Black Weatherstrip Adhesive (see 3M Section, Part Number 8008 / 8011). The latex foam composition has long been used in luxury automotive applications due to its superior wind, sound, weather, and dust sealing capabilities. These outstanding charac- teristics are exhibited in both dynamic and static applications. The soft latex foam is coated with a tough and durable weather-resistant skin of neoprene and hypalon rubber which provides a supe- rior surface compared to other products. Latex Foam Seals take a less of a “set” and are more for-
giving than sponge seals.
