Laura Geitz made her international dèbut in 2008 with the Australian Diamonds and soon found international success as a silver medalist at the 2010 and a gold medalist at the 2011 World Netball Championships. The 2011 season also saw Laura win an ANZ Premiership with the Mission . Now the Australian Diamonds and Queensland Firebirds netball team captain Laura Geitz will head a formal evening that will recognise women’s many contributions to sport. Also joining Laura is Emma Jane Clark, current CEO of Womensport Queensland. As part of her role with Womensport Queensland, Emma Jane works to help girls in the crucial drop-out range of 14 -17 years and provide them with the support, guidance and inspiration they need to continue.
