The paper starts with a list of figures which will help you get a better understanding of the country where you want to export to. First, there are some general figures about Croatia and after that we look more specifically at the food and beverages market. The following chapters deal with the general regulations of the market and the import/export activity in Croatia. This information will help you to identify the trends in your sector. The fourth chapter consists of a list of contacts of public actors and laboratories which might help you to start a business, import your products, or get useful information. To assist your future prospects in Croatia, we added information of all trade fairs linked to food & beverages and the contacts of the organizers. Keep in mind that new fairs frequently arise, while others disappear. The next two chapters consist of lists of the most representative companies, specialized in production, wholesale or distribution in the different subsectors of the food & beverage sector. At the beginning of each list you will find some additional information on regulations, labels, production figures, fairs or associations information. Also the healthy food sector deserves some attention, although the bio sector is fairly new in Croatia and does not count numerous players. The main distribution channels are summed up in the next chapter. Included you will find a list of contacts of wholesalers but also of big and small shops in Croatia. To conclude, a list of contacts in the tobacco sector and the industrial flavours sector is added.
