West Sussex Cycle Summit 2019: Getting Ahead of the Game
Description Welcome to the West Sussex Cycle Summit 2019: Getting Ahead of the Game! This afternoon you will hear how cycling improvements are secured through the planning system and during the discussion section we would like to hear your thoughts about how further improvements might be secured in the future. You will also hear about the progress being made on the West Sussex Walking & Cycling Strategy 2016-2026 and learn from industry experts about how Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plans (LCWIP) are helping to identify future priorities.
To facilitate the discussion session delegates are encouraged to think about how new developments in West Sussex might be improved in order to increase levels of cycling to work and school, and to increase the amount of high quality cycling infrastructure at new development sites.
