Comune di Firenze IL DIRIGENTE Vista l’istanza di Daniele Rossi per conto della FIRENZE LAVORI S.r.l. con la quale si fa presente che dovranno essere intrapresi Lavori di riqualificazione della carreggiata dell’area di incrocio tra Via dè Tornabuoni, Ponte Santa Trinita, Lungarno degli Acciaiuoli, Lungarno Corsini come da planimetria allegata parte integrante del provvedimento; Ritenuto opportuno adottare provvedimenti in materia di circolazione per consentire la completa esecuzione dei lavori medesimi; Rilevato che la sosta dei veicoli, nelle strade o tratti di essa ove la sosta sia vietata con la presente determina costituisce grave intralcio e pericolo per la circolazione veicolare; Vista l’Ordinanza n° 6526 del 20.09.2000 con la quale vengono dati gli indirizzi e le direttive per l’attuazione dei provvedimenti di viabilità conseguenziali alle richieste di occupazione di suolo pubblico; Visto l’Art. 107 del Decreto Legislativo 18.08.2000 n° 267; Visti gli Artt. 5, 6 e 7 del Codice della Strada approvato con Decreto Legislativo 30.04.1992 n° 285, con i quali si dà facoltà ai Comuni di stabilire obblighi, divieti e limitazioni a carattere permanente o temporaneo per quanto riguarda la circolazione veicolare nelle strade comunali; Visto l’Art. 81 del vigente Statuto del Comune di Firenze; Provv. Dir. 2013/M/02290 Pagina 1 di 6 O R D I N A che siano adottati i seguenti provvedimenti in materia di circolazione veicolare 1. per i giorni del 08/04/2013 e del 22/05/2013, con validità dalle ore 00.00 alle ore 24:00 per consentire l’inversione del senso di marcia in: BORGO SAN IACOPO − dall'incrocio con Via dei Bardi all'incrocio con Piazza dei Frescobaldi: Istituzione di DIVIETO DI SOSTA PERMANENTE con rimozione forzata ambo i lati; LUNGARNO GENERALE DIAZ − da Piazza Mentana a Piazza dei Giudici: Istituzione di DIVIETO DI SOSTA PERMANENTE con rimozione forzata lato fabbricati; 2. con decorrenza dalle ore 9.00 del giorno 08/04/2013 alle ore 17.00 del giorno 22/05/2013 AREA DI INCROCIO TRA VIA DEI TORNABUONI, PONTE SANTA TRINITA, LUNGARNO ACCIAIOLI, LUNGARNO CORSINI Istituzione di DIVIETO DI TRANSITO A TUTTI I VEICOLI; LUNGARNO CORSINI − dall'incrocio con Piazza Carlo Goldoni all'incrocio con Via dei Tornabuoni: Istituzione di DIVIETO DI SOSTA con rimozione forzata lato fabbricati, Istituzione di DIVIETO DI TRANSITO A TUTTI I VEICOLI: DEROGHE: i veicoli di frontisti e i veicoli diretti ai passi carrabili, il cui itinerario deve necessariamente interessare il tratto di strada in oggetto, sono autorizzati a circolare nei tratti che rimangono liberi, nei due sensi di marcia, in quanto STRADA SENZA SFONDO, con le cautele del caso, eventualmente in SENSO UNICO ALTERNATO A VISTA se la larghezza della carreggiata è inferiore a 5,60m, con accesso e uscita da Piazza Carlo Goldoni con Obbligo Di Arresto Stop e Dare La Precedenza all’atto della reimmissione nella viabilità ove la circolazione è consentita nel rispetto dei sensi di marcia vigenti; − all’incrocio con Ponte Santa Trinita: i velocipedi potranno percorrere la pista ciclabile fino a 20 ml prima dell’intersezione con il Ponte Santa Trinita, per poi procedere condotti a mano in promiscuo sul marciapiede, previa realizzazione di nuovo attraversamento ciclo-pedonale come prescritto dal Codice della Strada; inoltre dovrà essere assicurata attraverso realizzazione di segnaletica temporanea la continuità della pista ciclabile in direzione Ponte alla Carraia. (Signature)…………………………………………………………………………….. 1 Abstract The church of Santo Spirito in Florence is universally accepted as one of the architectural works of Filippo Brunelleschi (1377-1446). It is nevertheless surprising that contrary to such buildings as San Lorenzo or the Old Sacristy, the church has received relatively little scholarly attention. Most scholarship continues to rely upon the testimony of Brunelleschi’s earliest biographer, Antonio di Tuccio Manetti, to establish an administrative and artistic initiation date for the project in the middle of Brunelleschi’s career, around 1428. Through an exhaustive analysis of the biographer’s account, and subsequent comparison to the extant documentary evidence from the period, I have been able to establish that construction actually began at a considerably later date, around 1440. It is specifically during the two and half decades after Brunelleschi’s death in 1446 that very little is known about the proceedings of the project. A largely unpublished archival source which records the machinations of the Opera (works committee) of Santo Spirito from 1446-1461, sheds considerable light on the progress of construction during this period, as well as on the role of the Opera in the realization of the church.

At the bridge’s end, walk straight ahead, looking for a small piazza on your left with a church tucked in the back corner (Sant Felicita). Venture further down Via de’ Guicciardini, past Palazzo Pitti, onto Via Romana, until you reach Via del Campuccio. Turn right, and then make the next right again at Via Caldaie. Walk up to Santo Spirito, head out at the far right of the piazza and turn left on Via Maggio. Walk down to St. Mark’s Church, cross the street and take that right on Via dei Vellutini down to Piazza della Passera. Take Via dello Sprone back out and follow it until you reach Ponte Santa Trinita. Places to see: • Santa Felicita – One of the oldest worship sites in the city, although the current structure mostly dates back to the 18th century. Head here when open in the early morning and venture in under the Vasari Corridor (the arch-shaped interruption in the church’s facade), which also doubled as a private balcony the Medici could worship from without mingling with ordinary plebs. The inside is certainly inspired by the style of Renaissance heavyweight Brunelleschi – the man who solved the riddle of the cathedral dome. He even designed the chapel immediately to the entrance’s right, today known as the Capponi Chapel, which features two masterpieces by Mannerist favorite Jacopo Pontormo.

The Corsini Family Members of the Corsini family settled in Florence in the middle of the 13th century, attaining leading roles in government, the law, trade and banking. During that time, the Republic of Florence became one of the mercantile and financial centres in the Western world. Along with other leading families, the Corsini name was interwoven with that of the powerful Medici until 1737, when the Medici line came to an end. The Corsini family can also claim illustrious members within the Catholic Church, including their family saint, Andrea Corsini, three cardinals and Pope Clement XII. Filippo Corsini was created Count Palatine in 1371 by the Emperor Charles IV, and in 1348 Tommaso Corsini encouraged the foundation of the Studio Fiorentino, the University of Florence. The family’s history is interwoven with that of the city and its citizens‚ politically, culturally and intellectually. Between 1650 and 1728, the family constructed what is the principal baroque edifice in the city, and their remarkable collection of Renaissance and Baroque art remains on display in Palazzo Corsini today. The Corsini Collection: A Window on Renaissance Florence paints a rare glimpse of family life and loyalties, their devotion to the city, and their place within Florence’s magnificent cultural heritage.
