SEVENTH INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON ENGINEERING PLASTICS Qinghai Lake Xining is the capital of Qinghai Province in western China, and the largest city on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The city was a commercial hub along the Northern Silk Road's Hexi Corridor for over 2000 years, and was a stronghold of the Han, Sui, Tang, and Song EP’2015 dynasties' resistance against nomadic attacks from the west. The city is located on the eastern edge of the XINING Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and lies in the Huangshui River valley, with its average altitude of about 2,200 metres (7,200 ft). It is connected by rail to Lhasa, Tibet and Lanzhou, Gansu. Xining holds sites of religious Xining, China significance to Muslims and Buddhists, including the Dongguan Mosque and Ta'er Monastery. Xining has August 18-21, 2015 also been dubbed the Summer Resort Capital of China owing to its cool summer, with a cold semi-arid First Circular climate. The Xinjiang Autonomous Regional Museum houses the mummies and their artefacts that are some of the most significant archaeological discoveries in a hundred years and it is an excellent place to learn the history of this region.
