Drawings for gift cards will be held the 1st of March for students who have NO tardies, ID violations or dress code violations. ● Students, are you interested in some shameless self-promo? If so, you can buy an ad in the February issue of The Gata Data from now through February 20th. For only $5, you can shout out your social media handle, ask someone to prom, or simply create a message to put in the school newspaper. The possibilities are endless. Want to improve on your essay writing skills? Then you should consider scheduling for Creative Writing in the Fall of 2019. This elective class will be lots of fun! Open to juniors and seniors or any student who has completed English I and II. Mrs. Bruno looks forward to seeing you there! ● Want to earn your College English credit in one semester? English 102 Dual enrollment is being offered at the senior level through Southeastern University. Students who score a 29 or above in English on Act, or who score a 3 or above on the English III AP exam are eligible to sign up for the course. Please contact Ms. Murphy or Mrs. Knott if you have any questions. ● Now taking applications for BASF Tech Academy, a week-long summer program sponsored by BASF in coordination with RPCC. It allows students to learn more about high demand technical careers such as: welding, chemical facilities operators, laboratory services, etc. Stop by the Career Coaches' room 607 for more information and assistance with the application. Application deadline is March 15th. ● Seniors must complete FAFSA, LOFSA or an opt out form in order to graduate from high school. ● FRESHMAN MATH TUTORING is held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:45–3:45! ● UPPERCLASSMAN MATH TUTORING is held on Mondays in room 615 and Wednesdays in room 605 from 2:45-3:45. Make sure to bring your work with you. ● Need to catch up on work or make up a test? Make up Center is on Thursdays from 3-4:30 in Room 101.
