GARBAGE a short film

TAG: Jean and Jacob decide it's time to make some changes, but Jean and Jacob need to get trashed first.

Synopsis: Garbage follows two deadbeat millennials whose friendship is strong but whose convictions are not. Tired of a life of cheap thrills, they decide they are going to get their act together after one last night of shameless debauchery. Through the hazy neon of East L.A., they wind up at their friend's summer solstice soiree where everything comes to a head, and they are forced to confront each other as well as themselves.

Director’s Bio: Tayler was raised in Crystal Lake, IL by a U.S. Marine and a saleswoman at Macy's, so filmmaking has always been in her blood. She trained at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where she met three of the women who would later become producers on this film. Though this is her film directing debut, she’s no stranger to film and TV; she’s been an actress for years and recently appeared opposite Viola Davis in ‘How to Get Away with Murder.’ She is an active member of the female director collective Film Fatales, and she strives to play a major role in changing the landscape of the film industry so that women and other underrepresented groups can go to the movies and see themselves up there on the screen. Garbage was born out of this desire to do so.
