Sulphur Springs Municipal Airport was named "Airport of the Year" by the Texas Department of Transportation in 2003, citing improvements including: a new terminal building with a large, private meeting space provided by local industry; additional ramp space; the addition of AWOS (Automated Weather Observing System) system; construction of private and rental hangar spaces; and upgrades to the runways.

Theatre: This set-up style can accommodate the largest number of guests and is perfect for a lecture style meeting format.
Classroom: Much like the Theatre style set-up, this style accommodates a large number of guests and also allows for table space for note taking or light meal consumption.
U-Shape: Ideal style for meetings in which open participation among the attendees is required. Most attendees can see one another in this style.
Conference: Perfect style for smaller group meetings. Each participant can see one another and each participant feels like part of the team since they have a seat at “the table”.
Banquet Rectangular: This style of banquet seating accommodates a large number of guests in an environment where a buffet is typically available. This set-up is commonly used by family groups.

The Hopkins County Regional Civic Center is the region’s largest and most versatile meeting space. Our facility sits on 12 acres in Sulphur Springs and boasts over 82,000 square feet of space.
Each part of our facility has been newly remodeled and now vaunts the latest in style, comfort, technology and ease of guest use.
Our exhibit hall is 7,400 square feet and can be divided into four rooms. We also have a 1,250 seat auditorium with modern lighting and sound. The Venue at two nineteen is a unique venue located downtown Sulphur Springs, Texas. The venue has been recently renovated to capture the historic features of the 1913 building. We invite all events at The Venue 219. Birthday party, baby shower, wedding shower, wedding, reception, business meetings, leadership training, Christmas parties, retreats, etc. We will accommodate the smallest event to the larger events. We have the ability to set up the venue to meet your needs for each specific event.
Our venue is 2300 square feet with nineteen foot ceilings. The open layout of the floor plan allows the customer to visualize and create his/her own set up for the upcoming event. Tables, chairs and linens are provided for each event (up to 100 people). The capacity of the building will hold up to 200 people. An industrial style bar is a nice feature for parties to serve food and drinks of their choice. Free wi-fi and a projector are available to all events.

Cedar Canyon Event Center is Hopkins County’s newest, full-service venue, capable of hosting most any type of special event, from weddings and receptions, to parties, picnics, and reunions, and corporate trainings, conferences and seminars.
Cedar Canyon is situated on a 60 acre Wildlife Management area, just 6 miles south of Sulphur Springs on State Highway 154. Cedar Canyon is a custom designed, rock and cedar Venue built to incorporate the outdoor experience into every event we host. We are unique in size and can accommodate large numbers of guests without losing the comfortable and intimate feel you want to make your event special.
Our main Banquet Hall is 3,418 sq. ft. featuring large fir trusses and beams, and is separated from the covered porch and fireplace by a 53 ft. glass wall. We have beautiful lighting, adequate for corporate needs yet dimmable for parties, a state-of-the-art audio/video system with wireless microphones, built in bar, and large catering-sized kitchen, all climate controlled. Coleman Park offers numerous facilities and activity areas for the community and general public.
Your journey through Coleman Park begins on a concrete 2.5 mile walking trail which circles the lake, takes you past two breathtaking waterfalls, over three bridges, through a tunnel, and finally connects you to the soccer and baseball fields. The park has numerous recreational and sporting facilities, consisting of 7 soccer fields, 3 baseball fields, 3 softball fields, 2 tennis courts, a fishing pier, several picnic areas (equipped with charcoal grills and tables), a playground area, a 1/3 mile nature trail, and 2 concession stands located in the soccer and baseball areas.
