University of Sarajevo Education has a main role in the economic and social development of a human, where internationalization has a significant contribution to it. Internationalization of education contributes to improving its quality and youth employment on a global work market. Internationalization is mentioned as a physical mobility, academic cooperation and transfer of academic knowledge, as well as institutional partnership, joint studies and also international education and other sorts of CBC (Cross-border cooperation). This means a new way of communication and interaction among countries with aim of adopting intercultural knowledge and competencies. In the frame of internationalization, mobility’s segment of students, teachers and associates is of exceptional importance for many reasons: strengthening the quality of programs and excellence of research, strengthening the academic and cultural internationalization of European higher education, cooperation and competition among higher education institutions. At the same time, mobility has become a symbol of a European area of Higher education that is initiated to enable easier recognition and mobility inside Europe, as well with the aim to strengthen cooperation of European countries with Non-European Countries. The University of Sarajevo possess specific strength that is based on, before all, its academic tradition and academic culture of activities and openness to the world and thanks to that, even during the hardest times, University of Sarajevo didn’t stop performing, and during the moments when physical movement was impossible there were always some ways to feel influence and spirit of international activities. Today, this institution is investing a significant effort in following European area in the development of Higher education and also it is being part of it as a participant. Maximum efforts are made for providing access and participation in international projects because these activities are followed by financial incentives measures that individual institutions would not have access to free association with other Higher education institutions, nor they can draw it from national funds. By its nature, international activities are more complex than domestic ones. Internationalization is impossible without a wide palette of support services. Institutions are different when it comes to their activities due to foreign languages courses and domestic language course for foreign students, as well as accommodation for foreign

  • Haiku in Romania by Vasile Moldovan
Haiku in Romania by Vasile Moldovan Romanian poets expressed their interest in Japanese culture as early as at the very beginning of the 20th century. Two classics of Romanian literature, Alexandru Macedonski and Vasile Alecsandri, were fascinated by the beauty of Japanese landscape poems, and wrote several poems inspired by classical Japanese literature. First Romanian essays on haiku and tanka appeared in the Iasi-based Literary Event magazine in 1904. In the same year, the poet Al Vlahuta published an essay titled “The Japanese Poetry and Painting” in the By the Fireside magazine; this essay contained a number of tanka and haiku poems. Poet Al. T. Stamatiad published the first haiku poems in Romanian language, 12 in total, in the anthology titled Tender Landscape, which won the Romanian Academy Prize. In the 1930s, the poet Ion Pillat experimented with one-line poems, many of which resembled haiku. His best miniatures appeared in his collection that he called- One-line Poems (1935). These poems usually had a caesura and comprised of thirteen to fourteen syllables. In the preface he claimed that even if his poems differ from mainstream haiku they should be regarded as a form of haikai poetry. Pillat’s book proved to be influential, and nowadays many Romanian poets follow this trend. At approximately the same time poet Traian Chelariu published Nippon soul, an anthology of classical Japanese poetry in his translations (incidentally, he translated it through German). Chelariu adhered to the 5-7-5 pattern, which afterwards influenced many Romanian authors of haiku. In 1942, Al. T. Stamatiad published Nippon Courtesan Songs.

  • 1985 Agriculture Sector in Kosovo and Opportunities for Cooperation
Turkish Journal of Agricultural and Natural Sciences Special Issue: 2, 2014 TÜRK TURKISH TARIM ve DOĞA BİLİMLERİ JOURNAL of AGRICULTURAL DERGİSİ and NATURAL SCIENCES www.turkjans.com Agriculture Sector in Kosovo And Opportunities for Cooperation With Balkans Countries Emine Daci-Zejnullahi [email protected]. Department of Plant Production Technology, Faculty of Agribusiness, Haxhi Zeka University, Peja –Kosovo, Abstract Kosovo has a total land area of 10,908 km2, with a total length of 602 km land borders. Kosovo lies in a geographical basin situated at an altitude of about 500 km meters surrounded by mountains and divided by a central north/south ridge in two sub –regions. Kosovo`s continental climate is characterized by temperature between -20°C during the winter and + 35°C during the summer. The average rainfall is up to 700 mm. The two main agro-ecological areas are determined by climate, soil and vegetation: the south-west Dukagjini plain with a more Mediterranean climate and the eastern part with a more continental climate. Due to the diverse landscape structure, geographic base, flora, climate and hydrography soils in Kosovo vary with respect to agriculture. It is estimated that 15% of Kosovo‘s soil is of high quality, 29% is medium and 56% is poor quality. High and medium quality soils are composed of humus soil (11%) that is mostly distributed in the Kosovo plain, grey carbonate land (8.4%), alluvial (7.8%) and other dark and serpentine soils. Kosovo is, for the time being, a great importer of fruits, vegetables and decorative plants starting from the planting material to final products that this sector provides.
