Leslie Austin (Chorus) Leslie has been absent from the stage since playing the lead in Winnie the Pooh at the age of nine. She is thankful for this opportunity to salvage her theatrical reputation.

Dave Barais (Chorus) Dave has appeared in A Chorus Line, Gypsy, Fiddler on the Roof, and Godspe/1 all for the Chelsea Area Players. He is employed at the Purple Rose Theatre Co. '

Joseph Beauregard (Sti!Wpot) Joe is making his debut with AACT. A composition student at Western, he bas perfortned in the past with community theatres in both Whitmore Lake and Dexter.

Kevin Binkley (Lt. Cable) This is Kevin's second role with AACT. He played Curly in last seasons production of Oklahoma!. His prior perfonnances have been primarily in the Jackson area where he works as Treasurer for Jacobson's.

Bonnie DeLong (Chorus) A first grade teacher at Saline Christian School, Bonnie has appeared in several musical productions in this area and in Ft. Wayne.

Matt DeLong (Chorus) A Ph.D. math student at the U of M, Matt has appeared in several musical productions in this area and in Ft. Wayne.

Joe Diederich (Emile de Becque) A veteran of the local theatre scene, Joe is excited to appear once again in an AACT production. He has appeared in past productions of Sweeney Todd and The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Joe has also performed with several other area theatre groups most recently this summer in The Croswell Opera House production of The Unsinkable Molly Brown.

Scott K. Drews (Chorus) Scott made his acting debut in last season's production of Much Ado About Nothing, he followed that with a perfonnance in this summer's production of The Value of a Dollar. Scott is employed as a manager for Anderson Paint Company and is also a private consultant in individual exercise program development.

Steve Drews (Chorus) A veteran of Desert Storm, Steve is making his third appearance with AACT, having perfortned in last seascn's Much Ado About Nothing, and The Value_of A Dollar.

Lori Kathleen Gould (Chorus) Loti last appearance in an AACT production was in the early 70's when she played one of the schoolgirls in The Prime ofMiss Jean Brodie.

AJ Bainen (Capt. Brackett) AI returns to the stage after a five year hiatus. His last role with AACT was that of Old Joe in Domm Yankees. He has perfortned a variety of roles with both AACT and several local theatre groups.

Dave Harbison (Cdr. Harbison) Dave has been involved with AACT in some capacity for the last 35 years. His last perfonnance was the role of Lawyer Babcock in Mame. Dave also played the role of Stewpot in AACT's 1969-70 production of South Pacific.

Jeff Harris (Chorus) Jeff is making his second appearance in an AACT show, last year he was a member of the chorus of Oklahoma/. A past member of the Midland Music Society, Jeff has alsc perfortned a variety of musical comedy roles for area theatre groups.

Andrew Hoag (Chorus) Andrew has displayed his diversity by performing everything from musical comedy to courtroom drama for groups such as AACT, the Saline Area Players, and the Ypsi Players.

Caroline Keen (Chorus) Caroline's previous roles with AACT have included perfortnances in Oklahoma' and Sleeping Beauty. She recently made her film debut with cameo appearances in Judicial Consent and Autumn Leaves.

Roxanne Meggen Kring (Nellie Forbush) Roxy has been seen previously by AACT audiences in productions of Sweeny Todd, The Mystery of Edwin Drood and An Evening to Remember. She has also appeared in productions for other local theatre groups. Before settling down to become Regional Sales/Marketing Manager for Conde Nast Publications, Roxy acted professionally in theaters throughout New York, New England, Florida and the Midwest.

Tiffany Joy Lynch (Nga110) A 4th grader at Logan School in Ann Arbor, Tiffany has appeared in productions ofCasey at the Bat, and Rosey Her hobbies include acting and trying to beat up her big sister.

Patricia Mazzola (Liat) Patty has worked as a perfonner and choreographer in Michigan, New York and Tokyo. While in Tokyo she choreographed and perfonned in several musicals including All that Jazz a musical revue that was expressly created for the United States' Japanese Ambassadors annual ball.

Jayne Burch Montgomery (Chorus) Jayne has been involved with AACT since 1990 working on costumes, ushering, and set building. South Pacific marks her acting debut with AACT, although she has performed with other area theatre groups.

Jennifer T. Nardine (Chorus) A graduate of DePaul Univ. with a BA in vocal perfonnance, Jennifer spent three years at the Interlochen NMC (84-86) and has done extensive club work in the Chicago area.

Jim Nissen (Professor) This is Jim1s second AACT production this season. Earlier th.is season he was seen as Clifford Anderson in Deathtrap. He also played Will Parker in last season's Mainstage production of Oklahoma, and Sgt. Toomey in the Second Stage production of Biloxi Blues. Jim's performances in these roles won him the AACT's Best Supporting Actor Award for both the Mainstage and Second Stage seasons.

Nick Pban (Henry) A student at Greenhills school in Ann Arbor, Nick is also a violinist with the Metropolitan Youth Symphony and sings with the Michigan Youth Chamber Singers.

Steve Rosson (Luther Hillis) A free-lance writer, Steve's last appearance in an AACT production was as Neville in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. He has appeared off-off Broadway and perfonned in the first lntemationa1 Moliere Festival in France.

Cathy Simpson (Bloody Mary) Cathy interest in theatre dates back to just one year ago when she was cast ln the chorus of AACT's production of Oklahoma!. When not performing Cathy is an occupational medicine physician working as a research fellow at the U ofM.

Phoebe Strong (Chorus) This is Phoebe's first time with AACT, she has been involved with Chelsea Area Players for several years. Past shows include: The Most Happy Fe/la', Godspe/1, Lit' Abner, A Chorus Line, Fiddler on the Roof and Singin'inthe Rain.

BiU Teppo (Choros) After passing up a chance to do South Pacific years ago, Bill is glad to have a chance to be in the show once again. When not perfonning Bill writes children's stories and plays under the name of Melvin Hogan.

Janet E. Torno (Chorus) Janet is making her first venture on to the stage since graduating from high school. An Administrator for the U ofM Museum of Art she is excited to be returning to the stage in South Pacific.

Catherine Wadhams (Chorus) Previously Catherine has appeared in the AACT production of On the Twentieth Century. She was a member of the props crew for both The Mystery of Edwin Drood and The Music Man. She has also performed with the Chelsea Area Players and is a member of the U of M Choral Union.

Stacy Elise W•itkus (Chorus) Stacy has had a successful career doing a variety of roles in professional and summer stock theatres. Most recently she performed the role of Manuny Yokum in Lit' Abner for the Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre. Stacy is currently teaching drama, music theatre, and dance classes in Ann Arbor and Saline.

Rob J. Weber (Jerome) A Jrd grader at Lawton school in Ann Arbor, Rob has perfonned in productions of Casey a/the Bat, Ba"aws Have a Heart be a Star, and Gonna Have An Eanh Day. His hobbies include Football, Nintendo and trying to beat up his big brother. ~OPERATIONAL GIFTS ea- (AS OF 8/25/94)
