SeaCity Museum Visual Story Welcome to the SeaCity Museum visual story. It will show you what to expect when you visit the museum. Entrance You will come into the museum using this door. Inside the entrance you will see a ticket desk. There will be a person at the desk to welcome you and show you where to go. Ground Floor There is one gallery on the ground floor. It is called Southampton Stories. You can enter the gallery through this door. It is usually quite quiet here. First Floor Southampton’s Titanic Story This is the entrance to Southampton’s Titanic story. This gallery can sometimes be busy and noisy. Inside the gallery you will see a street scene. It is quite dark and has sound effects. You will see a room with lots of flaps to open and things to look at. There are lots of interactive parts of the gallery. You can try steering Titanic. You can try keeping Titanic’s engine’s running. You can practise Morse code. Some rooms in the gallery are quite dark with bright screens and sound effects. Southampton Gateway to the World You enter the gallery through this door. The gallery is big and there is a lot of space. There is a lot to see and do. It is usually quite quiet here. Toilets If you need the toilet while you are in the museum, there are toilets upstairs in the main hall. There also toilets downstairs. The accessible toilet is downstairs. Cafe If you are hungry while you are at the museum, there is a café on the ground floor. Shop There is a gift shop on the ground floor. If you need help If you need help in the museum ask a member of our staff. They will be able to help you. Some staff wear a purple top like this. Some staff wear a black top like this. Some staff only wear name badges like this. We hope you have a great time at SeaCity. We are looking forward to welcoming you! .
