SeaCity Museum Visual Story – Workshop Visit

Welcome to the SeaCity Museum visual story. It will show you what to expect when you visit the museum.

Entrance You will come into the museum using this door.

Inside the entrance you will see a ticket desk.

There will be a person at the desk to welcome you and show you where to go.

Upstairs

Upstairs you will meet your Learning Officers.

They will be with you for your workshop and your tour.

They will show you a trolley where you can leave your bags and coats.

During your visit you will have a workshop in a room like this.

Lunch

You will have lunch in a room like this one.

Southampton’s Titanic Story

You will have a tour of ’s Titanic Story.

You a will also have time to explore the gallery with your adults.

The gallery can sometimes be busy and noisy.

Inside the gallery you will see a street scene.

It is quite dark and has sound effects.

You will see a room with lots of flaps to open and things to look at.

There are lots of interactive parts of the gallery.

You can try steering Titanic.

You can try keeping Titanic’s engine’s running.

You can practise Morse code.

Some rooms in the gallery are quite dark with bright screens and sound effects.

After you have been through the gallery you will pick up your coats and bags from your trolley.

Toilets If you need the toilet while you are in the museum, there are toilets upstairs in the main hall.

There also toilets downstairs. The accessible toilet is downstairs.

If you need help in the museum ask a member of our staff. They will be able to help you.
