Tuan Yang di-Pertua, untuk maklumat Yang Berhormat Libaran, Jabatan Kemajuan Islam telah mewujudkan Jawatankuasa Penilai bagi setiap teks khutbah Jumaat bagi masjid-masjid di bawah pentadbiran JAKIM sendiri iaitu Masjid Negara, Masjid Putra, Masjid Wilayah dan Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin. Tujuannya adalah untuk menjaga kualiti teks khutbah dari segi kandungan dan penggunaan bahasa yang bersesuaian. Jawatankuasa ini terdiri daripada panel imam empat buah masjid utama dan juga disertai oleh beberapa ahli jawatankuasa yang dilantik terdiri daripada pengarah-pengarah bahagian di JAKIM. Teks khutbah Jumaat ini boleh dilayari secara online di dalam laman web JAKIM melalui Khutbah Online. -

WARTAWAN SINAR HARIAN | | 14 Mac 2020 Latheefa Koya dan Tommy Thomas A A TOMMY Thomas dan Latheefa Koya, dua nama besar yang menjadi fokus lensa media minggu lalu. Kedua-duanya mempunyai rekod tersendiri dalam catatan sejarah Malaysia. Tommy yang dilantik sebagai Peguam Negara pada 4 Jun 2018 merupakan individu bukan Melayu dan bukan Islam pertama yang memegang jawatan Peguam Negara selepas pembentukan Malaysia pada tahun 1963. Bagaimanapun, beberapa Peguam Negara sebelum itu merupakan pegawai Inggeris yang juga bukan beragama Islam. Pelantikan Latheefa pada 1 Jun 2019 sebagai orang nombor satu Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM), pula satu kejayaan hebat buat kaum wanita. Bagaimanapun, tumbangnya kerajaan Pakatan Harapan susulan kemelut politik baru-baru ini bukan sahaja menyaksikan pelantikan Presiden Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin sebagai Perdana Menteri Kelapan. Negara turut dikejutkan dengan pelbagai berita panas antaranya peletakan jawatan beberapa nama besar yang mengetuai agensi tertentu yang dikatakan atas lantikan politik. Mengimbas kembali, kedua-dua nama ini pernah berdepan dengan beberapa kontroversi yang menjadi bualan hangat ramai rakyat Malaysia. Pelantikan Tommy sendiri pada awalnya menerima bantahan khususnya pemimpin pembangkang, apatah lagi beliau dikaitkan sebagai peguam Setiausaha Agung DAP, Lim Guan Eng. Bulan lalu, satu petisyen atas talian turut dilancarkan bagi mendesak Tommy dipecat serta-merta susulan keputusan beliau tidak meneruskan pendakwaan ke atas 12 individu yang didakwa menyokong kumpulan pengganas, Harimau Pembebasan Tamil Eelam.
