Chair to adjourn the meeting 16/112 Public Participation  A resident of Pedlars Close presented a document outlining his concerns about Planning Application PA16/00509 and members of the council noted his comments for consideration.  A resident of Venton Close gave details concerning Planning Application E1/2006/0211 and asked for assistance in enforcing the original plans from 2006. It was noted that Cllr A. Paynter and the Housing Officer had already been notified of the complaint and were taking action.  An agent from Stu8 spoke about Planning Application PA17/00934.

16/113 Issues regarding previous planning applications (i) PA15/04255 Demolition of Cappadocia Poorhouse Cllr Rowland reported that he had written a letter to the Planning Service regarding the demolition of Cappadocia Poorhouse, a response has been received to acknowledge the correspondence and a Development Officer will investigation within 13 weeks. (ii) E1/2006/02111 Development at Venton Close It was agreed that the clerk would contact Planning to request them to visit the site and check boundary lines as highlighted by the resident of Venton Close.

16/118 Freedom of Information Policy (previously circulated) Agreed and adopted Proposed Cllr Greene/ Seconded Cllr Cooper 16/119 To receive Reports from the Chairman, Parish Councillors to include Highways reports  Signs for Copthorne have been ordered and there will be no charge to the Parish Council as funding is from Cllr Adam Paynter’s Community Chest  Cornwall Council have allocated an additional £2.9 million to road safety and drainage schemes. Programme of work can be found on www.cornwall.gov.uk/RoadSafetyDrainage  Cllr Faull confirmed that the causeway had been repaired to a good standard  Cllr Cooper reported that the culvert on the main B3251 by the Countryman recently blocked and caused the road to flood. Action: Clerk to report  Cllr Greene reported the passing place on Down Hill leading to the school had a large pot hole. Action: Clerk to report 16/120 Correspondence /emails received by the clerk  Election Training for Clerks 23 February at It was agreed that the clerk would attend the training, there is no cost for the course.  Information on how to keep it local for better services can be assessed at www.locality.org.uk  Information on the Plunkett Foundation can be assessed at www.plunkett.org.uk  Devon & Cornwall Cyber Protection Officer Information received on staying safe on the Internet following a recent cyber attack on Tiverton Town Council.  Cornwall Community Flood Forum - report launched in the House of Lords  War Memorial Workshop at 8 March  Voluntary registration of land as a village green Land can be registered with the Open Spaces Society for recreation which will be preserved for ever.  Operation Hedgehog - launched by the Cornwall Biodiversity Initiative and Local Nature Partnership. Details of top tips to preserve hedgehogs to be placed on Parish Hall Noticeboard.

16/121 Questions and Statements from Councillors, notice of Parish events, items for inclusion on future agenda, and exchanges of information relevant to the Parish.  Cllr Greene reported that he had been contacted by Mrs Toni Martin regarding the purchase of an additional defibrillator but it was agreed that this was not on the Agenda so will be discussed at the next meeting.  Cllr Faull informed the council that there will be an Industrial Hearing on 3 – 6 April 2017 16/122 Date of next meeting agreed as Wednesday 29 March 2017 at 7.30
