English 27 October 2017 PUBLIC GOVERNANCE DIRECTORATE REGULATORY POLICY COMMITTEE Cancels & replaces the same document of 24 October 2017 Regulatory Policy Review of Slovenia The Regulatory Policy Review of Slovenia aims to assess the regulatory management capacity of Slovenia by taking stock of regulatory policies, institutions and tools, describing trends and recent developments and identifying gaps in relation to good practices. The report presents the preliminary findings, assessment and recommendations to the review. It will be discussed at the 17th meeting of the RPC on 8 November 2017. Delegates are invited to: DISCUSS the assessment and recommendations of the review in light of their own efforts towards strengthening regulatory policy and governance; SUGGEST policies and practices that could provide some guidance to Slovenia as it strengths its own regulatory policy and governance; APPROVE the recommendations of the review aimed at supporting Slovenia’s efforts towards supporting regulatory policy and governance.
