Closer, Denser Development Spotsylvania already has development present, however it could be denser and significantly closer to the station. Infrastructure Improvement FAMPO is currently working with FRED Bus to extend shuttles to the Spotsylvania Station. Road access could be improved, as there is currently only one road with access to the station. Obtain Backing If the county is happy with the development they are seeing so far, they can acquire backing from the citizens and media for continued development Placemaking/Identity Spotsylvania County has a lot of history behind it and prides itself on being the “Crossroads of the Civil War.” Future development needs to consider this. VRE will contribute to the economic development of its member jurisdictions
