Even if you are not Irish, you can still join us for a St. Patrick’s Day party on Friday, March 16th, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Food and Friends lunch. We’ll have green food, prizes, good conversation with friends, and sweet Irish ballads by Beverly Gergen. Leprechauns from all backgrounds are welcome. Dress in green if you can and bring a friend if you wish. There will be lucky numbers so if you have a four leaf clover, you may want to consider carrying it that day. Please call 488-5342 to let us know if you are able to come. Wanted: Talented Volunteers Do you have a musical talent? Can you devote about 20 minutes once in a while during the lunch hour to play? If so, please consider volunteering to share your talent. We are a very appreciative and forgiving audience and would love to hear what you can offer! The Senior Center can provide an out-of-tune piano and a small electric organ, or you can dust off the old high school instrument you may have stored in the back of your closet. If interested, please call 488-5342. PRINTER CARTRIDGES HELP PARKS FOUNDATION! Several years ago, a citizen in Ashland set up an account with Printpal in Medford on behalf of the Ashland Parks Foundation so that used printer cartridges could be recycled and the Parks Foundation would receive a small percentage of the revenue generated from them. If you would like to contribute to this effort, you can drop off your used printer cartridges here at the Senior Center, or at the Parks Office in Lithia Park, or the North Mountain Park Nature Center. We’ll see to it they are recycled and that the Parks Foundation will receive the proceeds. Thanks for your help! Please call 488-5342 for more information.
