YOUR FUTURE IS THE WORLD Sekilas Sejarah Wisata Selam Indonesia ‣Awal sampai pertengahan 1990an merupakan masa keemasan pertama Industri Selam di Indonesia dengan semakin banyaknya peserta pendidikan selam serta menjamurnya beberapa resort dan operator selam di Indonesia (Bali, Manado, Derawan dsk, Ambon- Banda, Maumere), Liveaboard juga mulai bermunculan (Biak, Bali - Komodo, Krakatau, Kepulauan Seribu) ‣Dimedio 1996-2000 terjadi penurunan industri selam disebabkan krisis ekonomi yang menyebabkan tingginya USD dan juga kerusuhan di Indonesia ‣Awal 2000an mulai berkembangnya kembali industri wisata selam, dan munculnya destinasi baru diantaranya antaranya Wakatobi (pertengahan 90an) dan Raja Ampat ‣Peraturan Menteri terkait usaha wisata selam di tandatangani di tahun 2014. Terdapat lebih dari 200 badan sertifikasi selam yang mengaku berkualifikasi dunia Standarisasi pendidikan selam berakreditasi Internasional di keluarkan oleh ISO/EN, WRSTC (USA, Europe, Canada, Japan) dan CMAS Tidak semua badan sertifikasi selam rekreasi memiliki pengakuan standar oleh ISO/EN, WRSTC atau CMAS (catatan: tidak semua anggota CMAS mengadopsi standar pelatihan CMAS) YOUR FUTURE IS THE WORLD SDM, Standarisasi dan Sertifikasi Agensi sertifikasi selam di Indonesia: POSSI-CMAS, SSI, PADI, NAUI, TDI- SDI, RAID, ADSI, ISO. Throughout the islands, you’ll be serenaded by African rhythms, Caribbean calypso, English folk songs and the unique Bahamian goombay traditional music, combining African musical traditions with European colonial influences. Junkanoo is uniquely Bahamian and exists nowhere else. It’s an incredibly energetic, colorful parade made up of brightly costumed Bahamians dancing and “rushin” to the music of cowbells, drums, horns and whistles. The popular belief is that John Canoe, an African tribal chief, created Junkanoo when he demanded the right to celebrate with his people even after he was brought to the West Indies as a slave in the 16th century.
