We BREWERY ROAD, have identified around 2426 most Afghan vulnerable New arrivals families who have A -ONE CITY arrived and settled in cited area since past one year. HOUSING SCHEME, HAJI MANAAN STREET, The families identified belong mostly to Northern and Central zones of Afghanistan. HOUSE NO. 192. They have left their home, land, all other belongings, even loved ones and in some cases MAIL : P.O. BOX NO. 55 the dead bodies of their family members behind, due to Civil conflicts, economical & Political problems. You are better informed that in the year 1999 due to internal conflicts and mass killings. many Afghans sought and are seeking refuge into neighboring countries such as Pakistan and Iran. The victims of these conflicts are mostly women and children who have lost their husbands, brothers and family Guardians. These people who have sought refuge to the cited surveyed areas are living in depression, misery and devastation. The following information is included in the data bases, I. D. Card No, Name, Sex, Age, Marital status, Village, District. Province, Present Address, Arrival Date, No of Dependents, Reason for Leaving and Assistance Provided to them. The first distribution took place on 5`h February, 99. Please also find enclosed a copy of the sheet witch include the type of assistance provided to each one of these 1 174 families.
