C. Regulation 26/58, made hy .authoritz, of Order-in-Concil No. 1004 approved April 18th, 1958, as amended, be further amended: 1. By striking out clause (e) of section 19.02 and substituting the following: (e) A trailer or semi-trailer, the overall length of the permanent structure of which exceeds 40 feet, on a Highway named in Schedule 1.. 2. By striking out clause (j) of section 19.02 and substituting the following: (j) A vehicle or combination of vehicles, any part of which, or the load upon which, extends more than 15 feet, behind the centre of the last axle of the vehicle or combination of vehicles. 3; By adding the following to section 19.02 as clause (1): (1) A semi-trailer having any portior of its body or load forward of the turning axis (kingpin), projecting to a greater distance than a 60 inch radius from the center of the turning axis. 4. By striking out clause (a) of section 19.04 and substituting the following: (a) A combination of vehicles consisting of more than two vehicles on the Alaska II4ghway North of Dawson Creek or on any other highway not named in Schedule 1. 5. By striking out subsection (3) of section 19.05 and substituting the following: (3) Notwithstanding subsection (2) a combination of vehicles consisting of a truck tractor equipped with three axles and either a pole trailer, semi-trailer or trailer, equipped -Ath two axles, and having an over- all wheelbase length, measured from the first axle to the last axle of the combination of vehicles of more than 37 feet when carrying logs, poles in the natural state with or without bark, or saw timber cants, may be operated with a gross weight which does not exceed the gross weight allowable under Schedules 3 and 7, for a combination of vehicles with a wheel-base six feet longer than that of the combination of vehicles being operated. 6. By striking out subsections 4(d), (e) and (f) of section 19.05 and sub- stituting the following: (1) have a group of axles consistina of the rear single axle of a truck- tractor and the single axle of a pole-trailer or semi-trailer with a gross weight in excess of 37,000 pounds; r. [ORDER IN COUNCIL No , Continued.] - 2 - (e) Have a group of axles consisting of the rear single axle of a truck- tractor and the two axles of a pole trailer, semi-trailer, or trailer, or a group of axles consisting of the rear axles of a truck-tractor and the single axle of a pole trailer or semi-trailer, with a gross weight in excess of 51,500 pounds; (f) have a group of axles consisting of the rear tandem axles of a truck- tractor and the two axles of a pole-trailer, semi-trailer, or trailer with a gross weight in excess of 66,000 pounds: 7. By striking out Schedule I - Highways of Section 19.02 and substituting the following: Schedule I - Highways (1) Highway No. 1 (Trans Canada Highway) (a) from Victoria to Nanaimo. (b) from Horseshoe Bay to the south end of Lions Gate Bridge. (c) (New Route) from Taylor Way in Wiest Vancouver via Second Narrows Bridge and Port Mann to Cheam. (d) from the west boundary of Burnaby Municipality to the east boundary of Burnaby Municipality and from the east boundary of the City of New Westminster to Spuzzum.
