Cybele seated on a throne flanked on her left side by a seated lion seen in prospect. The goddess holds her left hand on the lion's head. Her mural seems to be decorated with an eagle or a Victory (?).

Ulpia Noviomagus 2. Two fragments of a statue (H. 0.39, W. 0.28), found at Nymwegen in the immediate neighbourhood of the Roman Camp. Nymwegen, Provinciaal Museum G. M. Kam. F. J. de Waele, Noviomagus Batavorum, Nymwegen 1931, 31; M. J. Vermaseren in RAEst 5, 1954, 129 and fig. 54. Mourning Attis in tunica manicata standing against a pine-tree. With his right hand he supports his head which itself is missing, but one of the flaps of his Phrygian is still preserved. Primitive sculpture, probably an Attis funeraire from the Cemetery.

3. Bronze figurine (H. 0.065, W. 0.04), found at Nymwegen in the so• called Winseling along the river Waal, i.e. in the civilian settlement of the Roman City (Ulpia Noviomagus).
