Saverio Clemente Andrea De Amici Luca Targetti Kiril Manolov was born in Sofia in 1976, where he studied singing at the National Academy of Music. He won several singing competitions in Bulgaria, but also in Wien, Warsaw, Barcelona and Brescia. He made his debut at the National Academy of Music in Sofia as Don Giovanni (Don Giovanni). He sang in all Opera Theatres in Bulgaria and also was a member of National Opera Sofia for two years. His repertoire includes the roles of Nabucco (Nabucco), Simon Boccanegra (Simon Boccanegra), Amonasro (Aida), Marcello (La Boheme), Enrico (Lucia di Lammermoor), Germont (La Traviata), Renato (Un Ballo in maschera), Figaro (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Dandini (La Cenerentola), Falstaff (Falstaff), Rodrigo (Don Carlo), Miller (Luisa Miller), Conte (Le Nozze di Figaro), Riccardo (I Puritani) and Silvio (I Pagliacci) In 2010 he sang Falstaff (Falstaff) in new production at the Opera House of Wiesbaden and the same year he made his debut at Staatsoper in Hamburg as Falstaff. In 2011 he sang Falstaff in Falstaff, Miller in Luisa Miller and Figaro in Il Kiril Manolov Barbiere di Siviglia in Wiesbaden, Conte di Luna in Trovatore at The Opera Cologne, Miller in Luisa Miller in Essen. Bariton In 2012/2013 he sang in the new production of Simon Boccanegra in Wiesbaden, Don Pasquale Aida, Falstaff in Wuppertal, L'Elisir d'amore in Zagreb, Aida in Nurnberg and Don Pasquale in Darmstadt. Among his recent engagements: Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Simon Boccanegra, La Forza del Destino e Falstaff a Wiesbaden, Falstaff in Ravenna, Piacenza, Ferrara, Reggio Emilia and for the Ravenna Festival with Riccardo Muti, La Forza del destino in Tampere, Aida and Il Trittico in Rome, L’Elisir d’amore in Sevilla, Falstaff in Savonlinna. He has been Simon Boccanegra in Antwerp, Nabucco in Stuttgart, Rigoletto in Savonlinna, Tonio in Pagliacci in Ravenna, and had a personal success as Simon Boccanegra in Piacenza. He has been Falstaff in Seville, Simon Boccanegra in Ravenna, Tonio in Pagliacci at Opera di Roma and in Piacenza, Tomski in Pique Dame in Savonlinna, Don Carlo in La forza del destino in Piacenza, Modena and Reggio Emilia, Simon Boccanegra in Innsbruck. He will next be Amonasro in Aida with Chicago Symphony and Riccardo Muti, as well as in St. Petersburg, Rigoletto in Innsbruck, Simon Boccanegra in Copenhagen, Il Tabarro and Le Villi in Verona.
