Memory of Defence Physical and Mental Archi Tec Tures MEMORY OF DEFENCE 26.03 – 26.09.2021 PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ARCHI TEC TURES MEMORY OF DEFENCE: PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ARCHITECTURES Imma Prieto and Pilar Rubí The consideration of the specificity and singularity of a place is, in large measure, what gives rise to the applicable or archi- tectural principles. The possibility of spatial division implies a considerable increase in the number of what might be referred to as singular points. The concept of locus1 notably elucidates an important interrelation, and it leads us to some of the ideas that are central to this project. Building on some of the ideas of Aldo Rossi, the exhibition is shaped by reflections on a cer- tain type of functionalism, on the monument versus the anti- monument and, particularly, by a focus on the need to recover the value of collective memory. We propose an itinerary that begins with the ambivalence of time and space: without mov- ing from where we are, we return to the thirteenth century, or journey to Palestine, Kosovo, and New York while staying in our present day. In this manner, we follow lines of thought that reveal urban, physical, and geographical fissures that are the expression of the visible and invisible borders of our time. Once again before us is the chasm that separates the realm of politics from the social realm; in other words, makes visible the separation between human rights and the system that objectifies us. In the classical world, the choice of location was governed by the genius loci, a divinity who presided over everything that Antoni Muntadas, Closed/Locked, 2020. 60 photographs printed 1. Un manual olvidado de español para alemanes: Theoretisch-Praktische Lehre der Spanischen Sprache (Leipzig, 1806) de Manuel Pérez Ramajo∗ A forgotten textbook for teaching Spanish to Germans: Theoretisch-Praktische Lehre der Spanischen Sprache (Leipzig, 1806) by Manuel Pérez Ramajo Daniel M. Sáez Rivera Universidad Complutense de Madrid dansaez@filol.ucm.es Received: 1.iv.2014 Accepted: 14.v.2015 Abstract This work will try to explain a less known textbook for teaching Spanish as a foreign language by the Spaniard Manuel Pérez Ramajo, Theoretisch- Praktische Lehre der Spanischen Sprache mit der wörtlichen interlinearen Ueber- setzung der Beyspiele und Gespräche (Leipzig, 1806), as a transitional work between the traditional method and the protocommunicative proposals by Ollendorf in the context of the didactical trends for teaching Spanish in Ger- many in the 19th century. Therefore, the grammatical sources of the work will be carefully established, and the content of the textbook will be drawn: a grammar with additional remarks on syntax and orthography, samples of dialogues and letters, being address forms especially considered, and a short anthology of poems, in which some poems by the very Pérez Ramajo signing as «R::: o» can be highlighted. Key words: history of teaching of Spanish as a foreign language, history of grammar, dialogues, grammar, poetry anthologies, canon, Germany, 19th Century.

GRAZIELLA GALLIANO TRA I CARTOGRAFI ITALIANI ALL’ESTERO.

  • (VIII). La Etimología De Porto-Salè (Formentera, Islas Baleares). Una Nueva Propuesta
Faventia 40, 2018 75-87 Loquella barbarica (VIII). The Etymology of Porto-salè (Formentera, Balearic Islands): A New Proposal Porto-salè is the name of a portion of the island of Formentera. Its etymology has been put in relationship with the salt that was extracted from the ponds laying near there. A version of this toponym can be found in the Compasso de Navegare (13th Century). This, together with the comparative study of other toponyms like Binissalem, in Mallorca, or Grazalema, in Cadis, allows us to propose that Porto-salè is a Berber clanic toponym, being, in fact, the loan translation of the Arab form Marsa Salama or Marsa Salāma.

International Journal of Scientific Management and Tourism , 2015, Vol.1, pp 109-133, CARDONA, J.R.; AZPELICUETA, M.C.
