Analisis Pengaruh Tarif Penerbangan, Jumlah ANALISIS PENGARUH TARIF PENERBANGAN, JUMLAH PENERBANGAN DAN PENDAPATAN PERKAPITA DALAM MENINGKATKAN JUMLAH PENUMPANG 3 ANALISIS PENGARUH TARIF PENERBANGAN, JUMLAH PENERBANGAN DAN PENDAPATAN PERKAPITA DALAM MENINGKATKAN JUMLAH PENUMPANG Andhi Pahlevi Amin Abstract The aim of this study are to obtain empirical evidence and test the factors that have an influence towards the amount of passanger flight in Ahmad Yani Airport of Semarang. Hypoteses tested in this study deal with passanger fare (FARE), flight frequency (FREQ) and per capita income (INC). Yet also to know whether there is any significant effect between flights frequencies, passenger fares, and per capita income towards the number of amount of passanger flights. The population in this study is the flight data from 2002-2011. Techniques used for sampling in this study was purposive sampling. Collecting data using data pooling. Data were analyzed using regression in SPSS program . Results and implications of this study is that this study supports previous research theoritically which says that the change number of flights frequencies and the amount of per capita income influenced towards the amount of passanger flights, while the passenger fare has no effect on the amount of passanger flights. At the managerial level, this study contributes to to increase the number of aircraft thus increasing the number of flights scheduled. The aim of this research is to analyze the factors causing bankruptcy to some national airline companies in Indonesia after the aviation deregulation in the periods of 2001-2010 and 2011-2015. It is an exploratory research with a qualitative descriptive approach emphasizing on evaluating the factors causing bankruptcy to a number of domestic airlines in Indonesia. The method of data collection is an interview with the format of focus group discussion (FGD), while the data analysis uses factor analysis method. The results of this research show that there are two main factors that cause bankruptcy to a number of domestic airlines in Indonesia. They are both internal and external factors of the companies.     PARADISE LOST, SANITY GAINED: TOWARDS A CRITICAL BALINESE URBANISM Alexander R. Cuthbert* Abstract Bali is a global tourist destination having had the added descriptor paradise for most of the last century. But it is now transparent to most visitors that serious problems prevail across the entire local economy and built environment. The incoherence of development is largely to blame. Given the failure to generate a new Balinese architecture that matches the integrity of the old, Balinese urbanists are now caught in a Gordian knot where a unified traditional architecture remains, yet a new architecture is not forthcoming. How to untie the knot is the question. Architecture suffered major discontinuity when traditional building was largely abandoned in the face of progressive urbanization. The problem remains unresolved. The following paper represents a preliminary attempt to expose key issues. It suggests methods of moving forward. But a new momentum demands a new philosophy in the realm of urban theory, the foundation of all professional activity. No significant progress can take place without it. My attention is therefore directed to answering the question how can the transition be made from traditional Balinese architecture emerging from the dynamics of feudalism, to its conscious translation and accommodation within post-modernity, informational capitalism, and globalization? While the problem needs tackled at several levels – education, policy, strategy and enforcement, I suggest in conclusion that these should be framed within generic principles derived from vernacular transformations, a culture of critical Balinese regionalism, and an adaptation of the New Urbanist lexicon to a tropical environment. It can be seen in the establishing two aviation companies namely PT. Indonesia Air Asia and Ma- lindo which both are low-cost carrier. These aviation industries are categorized as low-cost car- rier, however safety and security are absolute factors because these are rights for consumers. This article will describe further about safety and security standard; protecting the rights for consumers in connection with safety aviation in Indonesia and Malaysia from the Consumer Protection Law and the Aviation Law. As a result of the research shows that safety standard passenger for air transportation in airport covers information and safety facility in the shape of availability of the emergency safety tools (fires, accidents and natural disasters); information, area and health facility; and healthcare workers. Moreover, safety standards for passenger in an aircraft include information and safety facility in the shape of availability information and the emergency safety tools for passenger in an aircraft. The protection for consumer rights for safe- ty flight in Indonesia as follows: aviation industry has obligation to fulfill minimum standard of safety and security; consumers must be safety from false information which raises concern; air- craft operation which endanger of the passenger; and consumer protection in operating the elec- tronic device which endanger flight.

Opened its door for foreign investment in the late of 1960s and enjoyed significant economic growth as the result, the country suddenly changed its foreign investment policy in 2012 to be more protectionist towards domestic investors and skeptical towards foreign investors. The essential issues to be discussed in this research are: what motivates Indonesia to move away from global investment regime; what actions the country has taken as manifestation of resentment against the regime; and who are the actors behind such a backlash. This is a qualitative study which aims at gaining a deep understanding of a legal development of Indonesia’s foreign investment. It aims to provide explanation of the current phenomenon taking place in the country. Data were collected through interviews and documents. This research reveals that liberalization of foreign investment law has become the major cause of resentment towards the foreign investment. Liberalization which requires privatization and openness toward foreign capital has failed to deliver welfare to the Indonesian people. Instead, foreign investors have pushed local business players, especially small and medium enterprises, out of the market.
