#103: David M. Schwarz David M. Schwarz has a busy office in Washington, D.C. that designs sports facilities, concert halls and shopping centers around the country. But his most significant work was revitalizing the downtown of Ft. Worth, Texas. With the largesse of Ft. Worth native and philanthropist Ed Bass, Schwarz designed and built dozens of new buildings over decades, including a stunning European style concert hall and a public square, bringing walkable urbanism to car-crazy Texas.

#104: Scott Merrill was an early participant in the New Urbanist town of Seaside, Florida, a small resort town in the Panhandle that marked the beginning of a radical new way of building towns and neighborhoods. Merrill's work blends the ideals of with a sensitivity to American vernacular structures and thoughtful land use that is uniquely of his state.

#106: Marc and Nada Breitman Marc and Nada Breitman live and work in a charming part of very close to the Louvre. But their work focusing on housing for people on fixed incomes or low-wage work. They create public housing that retains the charm of a city with an eye insuring that residents don't feel socially stigmatized by the appearance of their housing.
