Sculpture park in the Frogner Park with more than 200 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland (1869–1943) in bronze, granite and cast iron, including The Angry Boy (Sinnataggen in Norwegian) Oslo's Opera House is located right at the harbour, with an angled, white exterior that appears to rise from the water. It invites its visitors to climb its roof and enjoy panoramic views of Oslo and the fjord, all year round. About NORHEART NORHEART – Norwegian PhD School of Heart Research NORHEART is a national education network for collaborative education of PhD students within cardiovascular research in Norway financed by The Research Council of Norway. NORHEART is initiated, organized and run by cardiovascular scientists. NORHEART is organized as a collaborative network with local nuclei in all university regions: Oslo, Tomsø, Trondheim, Bergen NORHEART events are continuously evolving to promote ongoing and future projects. Therefore all events are based on suggestions and initiatives from active scientists. Some of our upcoming events: Course Metabolic and Mechanical Function of the Heart 2020 University of Tromsø, Date TBA This 3 day course for PhD students emphasizes practical and theoretical knowledge in cardiac function and energy consumption. Workshop Female Heart workshop 2020 Solstrand Hotel & Bad, Bergen, May 19-20 2020 This workshop focuses gender differences in heart disease.
