Robert has worked for the two biggest TV Network in , Trans TV and RCTI. During 8 years of working in the TV Industry, he has created and produced more than 40 different TV shows, from variety shows, music shows, comedies , sitcoms, TV drama series, and movies made for TV.

He has also produced 4 feature films in Indonesia and written, produced, and directed a movie made for TV called Surat Untuk Ayah which was nominated as Best Movie made for TV, Best Actress and Best Editing in the Indonesian Film Awards (Indonesian’s Oscar) in 2007.

In 2008, he received a scholarship and grants to further his study in film directing in New York City. He now lives in New York City and has written, produced and directed 12 short films. His last short film,City of Sadness, had been selected for several international film festivals throughout the world. In 2011, he directed two feature films in Indonesia. The first is a crime drama omnibus titled Dilema which won the Best Feature in 2012 at the International Detective Film Festival in Moscow. His second feature film titled Hattrick is an action sport comedy about an underground football tournament. Both films are wide released in Indonesia.

He also helped produce first feature film project of HBO Asia titled Dead Mine, a horror action with international cast and crew. It was distributed all around the world. In 2014, he co-founded a film studio in Indonesia called LEGACY PICTURES. Their first project was a romantic comedy titled Kapan Kawin? starring Reza Rahadian and who are both award winning actors in Indonesia. Legacy Pictures is preparing their second and third feature film production which is a horror-adventure film and a historical biopic film respectively.

His goal now is to find a producer and creative partner to develop their first feature film in US who shares his passion and vision.

His specialties lie in writing and directing feature films, short films, TV shows and commercials, developing ideas for TV series or TV shows and writing for feature film projects.
