Dear CommunitY Members: penn Center's Annual Heritage Days Celebration continues to be one of the longest running cultural events in Beaufort County. The theme "Reconstruction Era: Changes and Chayenges integrates the living heritage of our ancestors through demonstrations of Gullah Geechee traditions, education, and customs'
We are proud to be the site of the newly established Reconstruction Era National Monument and is looking forward to your participation and visit.
We are soliciting units to participate in the 2017 Herltage Celebration Parade to be held Saturday, November 11ft. Parade participants will be charged a fee of $25.00 per unit. All unit(s) must be decorated to incorporate Heritage's Theme (Reconstruction Era: Changei anil Challenges) ,.d ready to line up by 8:00 a.m. The parade will begin at 9:00 ur.-tt *p from St. Helena Elementary School. Vehicles that are not parade participants will not be allowed.
THERE IS NO PARADE CHARGE FOR CHURCHES ANd SCHOOLS. parade will be is i $S.OO entry fee for each person on Saturday including -There participant.
