The Vestry is proud to present the names of the parishioners who were selected to be members of the St John’s New Rector Search Committee. The members all volunteered for this important and challenging position. The committee has a major challenge before them as there are many steps to be taken before a new Rector can be called to lead our parish in the years ahead. This search will involve all members of St. John’s as the committee will be called to develop a parish profile that describes the personality, mission and ministry of the congregation, focusing on the uniqueness of the parish and the passions and gifts for ministry it is looking for in its next priest. The vestry and search committee will meet together on retreat on Saturday, July 15 at St. John’s. We will commission the search committee during our regular Sunday worship on July 16.
