PRESIDENT'S REPORT
Since 1879, Prahran Cricket Club has experienced a long and proud history. The quality of current/former players, administrators and volunteers has been great, yet we have not achieved the recognition as one of the best and most influential clubs in Premier Cricket. This should remain our objective and the responsibility is with all players, coaches and administrators to build on past effort to achieve our objective. The development of women's cricket at Prahran is a priority and although we are still a work in progress, giant strides have been made thanks to the tireless efforts by coaches, managers and of course – the players. Further initiatives and resources are planned for women's cricket in 2016/17. We are very appreciative of the time, expertise and resources from coaches, committee persons and office bearers, sponsors, supporters and our invaluable volunteers. Congratulations to the players on their efforts, particularly the Men's and Women's 1st XIs on their finals performances and the general support of players at dinners, functions and Presentation Night. David Jones was President of the Club for three seasons and resigned due to personal circumstances at the end of the season. We all thank David for the amount of time and effort he gave the Club and look forward to seeing him as a supporter at Toorak Park next season. Finally, although I have been in the role of President for a short period, I appreciate the support received for our planning process that should set the Club for a successful 2016/17 season.

ADMINISTRATION MANAGER'S REPORT
My brief tenure as Administration Manager afforded me the opportunity to view our great Club from another perspective, and to see just how hard so many people work to keep the Club rolling along. We have endured significant changes on and off the field in recent seasons, but it is the strength, commitment and belief of all of us, collectively, that will ultimately bring us the success we yearn for. In many senses, I jumped in the deep end when taking on this role ‐ I therefore have many people to acknowledge for their assistance in keeping me afloat. My thanks go to: David Jones and his Committee for initially appointing, and then supporting me as Administration Manager. John Zarb and Alastair Gumley for their advice and guidance. David Jukes and Ian Crawford for their ongoing support and encouragement. The captains, both temporary and permanent, of all of our teams for their assistance on match days. Peter Di Venuto for his tireless work and enthusiasm for every aspect of our Club. Carl Sandri and David Williams for their help with our Women's teams Nigel Hutton for his efforts in maintaining the Club's digital presence, especially his brilliant photography, examples of which are to be found throughout this report. Michael Costello and John Stewart for the extraordinary dedication they show to our Club. Karl Hieser for his scoring, his advice and his wisdom. OBITUARIES
JOHN LUTTRELL (Cap # 296) John Luttrell passed away on March 16, 2016. John played with our Club for two seasons from 1960/61, playing 16 first eleven games as a top‐order batsman. He will be sadly missed.

PREMIER CRICKET AWARDS
Prahran's Jess Cameron won the 2015/16 Una Paisley Medal, romping to victory with 35 votes from just 8 matches. She recorded the maximum possible six votes in five matches. Jess becomes just the third woman to win the medal three times. Her victory represents the first time the Una Paisley Medal has been won a player in Prahran colours. Jess scored 578 runs at the remarkable average of 192.67, with 2 centuries and 4 half‐centuries, in a season where she also played state cricket for Western Australia. Jess was also selected in the Premier Team of the Season.

SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS
On the night, special presentations were made to two players who both broke long‐standing Club records during the course of the season. Sam Coates finished 2015/16 with a career total of 317 wicketkeeping dismissals. During the season he broke Kyle Malligan's record of 291 dismissals set in 1998/99. Sam is pictured below, after taking his 300th dismissal in the match against Fitzroy‐Doncaster, with Kyle and with Neil Smyth, who was the previous dismissals record‐holder.
Bryce McGain ended 2013/14 with 419 wickets, just seven wickets away from Bruce Murray's Club record 426, a record which had stood since 1974. Injury prevented Bryce from adding to his tally last season but early in the New Year in the match against Northcote, the evergreen veteran claimed the Club record for himself. Bryce finished the season with 436 wickets, played his 200th Prahran First Eleven game and produced a match‐winning spell in the amazing quarter final victory over the Monash Tigers. The Club has named the First Eleven bowling average trophy in his honour. The Club congratulates these two outstanding cricketers and Clubmen on their well‐deserved and hard‐earned milestones.

COACH'S REPORT
Club Coach
Season 2015/16 saw the First XI have our most successful finals series in a number of seasons while as a club we unearthed some young and talented players that will no doubt form the foundations for the future. After the required exit of a number of players at the end of the previous season, and the loss of another two whom picked up fantastic coaching opportunities, we were left with a number of young players playing their first full season of Premier Cricket. This was exciting for us, but was also going to potentially present its own challenges as the season progressed. This was highlighted with the ladder positions in the lower three elevens whereby in mid January we were all safely in finals contention. Only four rounds remained but our playing efforts produced some average results that saw us slip out of the finals race by season's end. The First XI on the other hand flew the flag and it was wonderful to see the amount of players not participating across the grades turn up to training to support the team's preparation. Just as pleasing was the support in the finals as the club banded together to support the charge. While we have reached semi‐finals in seasons past, we have not performed with the same passion and belief. This mental approach drove us to be within a whisker of the eventual premier and a realisation that if we are prepared to expose ourselves to failure to achieve victory, anything can be achieved. Congratulations to Jake Hancock on his State contract opportunity with Tasmania. While we are disappointed to lose him as a player, we are excited for him. He has thoroughly deserved the chance and his legacy should be obvious to see. Work hard, train as you play, prepare well and back your effort. Focus only on the next ball as its all you can control and more often than not, the results will take care of themselves. Well done to Sam Grimwade on his rookie contract with Cricket Victoria. We have known of Sam's talent for a few seasons now, but again the work that goes on behind the scene to improve his own deficiencies is the cornerstone to his success. It's without surprise to see these two individuals get these opportunities. Along with all our other State representatives, male and female, they all have a common thread. They take responsibility for their own improvement, seek advice and help others, communicate regularly and are driven. Hard work brings their success. Well done to Adam Hutton and Matt Wilcox for their selection in the Cricket Victoria Winter Academy Squad. They will be the first of many players from Prahran Cricket Club who will receive this opportunity in coming seasons. Thankyou to coaches and support staff Paul McMahon, Neale Price, Adam Dale, Bryce McGain & Alastair Gumley for their efforts to support the boys during pre‐season and the season overall.

Well done to those who were part of the leadership group: Nick Morrey, Steve Seymour, Matt Wilcox, Adam Hutton, Clinton Bricker, Jacob Serry, Will Pike, Sam Hill, Rowan Bricker, Sam Freedman, Nathan McNally & Sam Grimwade. This coming season we look forward to some of the female players joining the leadership group as we change and progress the program. Congratulations to David Jones for his successful tenure as President of the Prahran Cricket Club. While we are disappointed that he has needed to step away from the role for personal reasons, he has left his mark. I was always an admirer of David as an umpire when we had crossed paths. I am fortunate to have got to know him very well and to call him a friend. He will always be welcome at Toorak Park. Thank you to those who served with David on the committee, for their continued support of the coaching and playing group. It is said that everything at some point comes to an end and we are sad to see Steven De Bolfo retire after 17 seasons at the club. Steve has played some terrific innings for the club and regularly generated wickets through his speed and accuracy in the field. He has a lot to offer any young cricketer and we are certain Steve will be mentoring some of the younger players at the club over the next few seasons. Good luck Bolfy and we look forward to seeing you around Toorak Park. We are a very even club across the board, so complacency is not an option to maintain our forward progression. We must continue to increase our standards, challenge each other and fully support one another to improve. It won't just happen; we must make it happen. The playing talent is there for everyone to see within the club, and there will be more players who will join us. It is an exciting time for Prahran, but any ultimate success will come from the sum of the whole group – both on and off the field. We must be united, we must be focussed and we must be driven to achieve. Dare to dream.

Women's Coach
In what was only our second year as an integrated premier cricket club, there was a strong showing of things to come in the Women's Premier Competition. Across the whole group, the coaches, support staff and players, there is a sense that we were proud of season 15/16 but not satisfied. Proud that we reached the semi‐finals for the first time; proud to have so many representatives in State, WBBL and National teams (senior and junior players alike); proud to have the Una Paisley Medallist, Jess Cameron; proud to have so many individual highlights throughout the season like two centuries from Jess Cameron as well as five wicket hauls from the spin sisters Alana King and Izzy Westbury just to name a few. To top it off we were extremely proud to be introducing so many young talented players to the First XI, giving them a taste of what it takes to mix it and compete with the best senior players that Victoria has to offer. When I talk of being 'not satisfied' I refer to the sense of unfinished business. After our semi final defeat it gave us an opportunity to reflect on what might have been. We were relatively a new group of players formed at the start of the season and it was always going to take time to create a complete sense of team, but by the end of the season we certainly felt we had it. This is what now motivates and excites the players and will drive us moving forward, knowing and understanding the capabilities of their teammates and the group as a whole. This feeling would not have been possible without the strong leadership from Club Captain Emma Inglis. Emma has been at the forefront of learning about our group of players, introducing the new members of the club into the Prahran team environment and demonstrating her ability to juggle things around to make everything work best on game day. With Victorian or WBBL duties affecting us at times, we did use another four captains throughout the season. Each of those respective captains continued the work of Emma by ensuring the playing group were always developing individually, moving forward collectively and learning to play their role within the team. During the season it was great to see Prahran girls play representative for both state and country. Nicola Hancock (Australian Shooting Stars) and Annabel Sutherland (Cricket Australia u/18 XI) both represented Australia in various competitions throughout the season; we had senior State and WBBL representatives in Emma Inglis (Vic Spirit & Melbourne Stars), Jess Cameron (Western Fury), Kath Hempenstall (Vic Spirit & Melbourne Stars), Nicola Hancock (Vic Spirit & Melbourne Renegades), Alana King (Melbourne Stars) & Gemma Triscari, our Perth fly in, (Western Fury & Melbourne Stars). These girls all gave great accounts of themselves in their respective teams across the season. They were great ambassadors of the Prahran Cricket Club on the professional circuit. We also had junior state representatives in Maddie Wright (Vic U/18) Annabel Sutherland (Vic U/16) and Maddie Stirling (Vic U/16) with special mention going to Annabel Sutherland for being awarded player of the series in her national championships and to Maddie Wright for being a part of the Victorian team that won the national U/18 Championships. There were also numerous girls that represented their pathway teams in the state championships across

all age groups. This was a fantastic achievement and potentially a starting point to future state and national representation through hard work and commitment. It was a privilege and honour to be able to coach and work with this group of girls across season 15/16. The talent and potential on display throughout the season was exciting to say the least and together we look forward to raising the bar and driving our standards higher as a women's Premier Cricket Club. There's no question all of the girls are excited for what lies ahead and are all prepared to do whatever it takes during winter and through pre‐season to better themselves individually for the good of the team. I'd like to thank the entire club for the support of the Women's program across the WP1 & WP2 teams. We all understand the benefits that are afforded to the club and its people with full integration of a women's and men's program and we are no doubt looking to stay leaders of the pack in that regard. To President, David Jones (and his committee), and Club Coach, Peter Di Venuto, for their persistent drive and efforts to making this program successful ‐ thank you. To "Jack of all Trades" ‐ a la James Higgs who did so much for us throughout the season and deserves another big thank you. I am delighted he wants to score for our team as well as the men's 1st XI next season. What an awesome club person and part of what makes PCC so special. Thank you to our women's Cricket Co‐ordinator and Second XI Coach David Williams. We no doubt had some testing times throughout the season but his consistent efforts to make all things women's cricket 'work' cannot be underestimated. Finally to all of the men's side of the club thank you for any work or guidance you have given the girls over the course of the season and to anyone else that helped out behind the scenes, such a program wouldn't be successful without everyone's assistance. CAPTAINS' REPORTS
Men's 1st Eleven
The 2015/16 season is one that will be remembered as the season we showed the competition our never say die and 'win from any position' attitude. It will also be a season of missed opportunity, having got so close to the big dance. I can assure this disappointment will only serve to drive the playing group even harder to get ourselves back into that position again next season. We had 21 players represent the 1st XI across the season of which 6 of these made their debut for the club. This once illustrates the depth in talent that we have in the club, and it's this depth that will continue to push the team to the ultimate prize. After starting the season with 4 straight wins, we then threw up some inconsistent performances which led to dropping games we were disappointed to lose. This in the end cost us a top 4 position and meant we had to do it the hard way during the finals series. The Quarter Final against Monash Tigers will be remembered for a long time by those who played in and watched the game, and will be an experience the players can draw on in the future when we find ourselves behind in games. We had a number of outstanding individual efforts throughout the season. Matthew Wilcox again enhanced his reputation as one of the premier seam bowlers in the competition with 40 wickets; this included match winning performances in big games across the season. Our opening batting pair of Adam Bull and Jake Hancock formed an outstanding partnership which set a platform for us consistently across the season and ended with both players scoring 600+ runs. We had two of club stalwart's break long standing club records. Bryce McGain (wickets taken) and Sam Coates (dismissals); these achievements cannot be under estimated, and both Bryce and Sam continue to set the example for the playing group. Sam Grimwade again continued his development as a highly skilled Off Spin Bowler and was rewarded with selection in the Aus Under19 side and now a Rookie Contract with the Bushrangers. Nathan McNally was selected in the Premier All Stars team and played against the Melbourne Stars and Renegades. Jake Hancock was the dominant batsman in the Futures League competition and was rewarded with a contract down in Tasmania. Although selfishly we are disappointed to be losing him after only one season we are delighted for Jake and wish him all the best. He has left behind a great lesson to all our young players in how hard you need to work to become the best player you can be.

Women's 1st Eleven
Being the second season for the Prahran Women's Cricket team, there was great anticipation for improvement on season 1. David Williams was appointed to manage the women's teams and Carl Sandri to coach the Premier Firsts. David was able to provide more stability to the selection and recruitment, which made for smoother selections and communication. Carl was a fantastic addition as the coach of the firsts with his knowledge and enthusiasm creating a great environment to learn and improve. Numbers at training were ever growing and a credit to the great program being run by Carl in conjunction with Peter and the male teams. The improvement across the season was clearly visible and the on field performances reflected this. Although the season started with a loss to EMP it soon turned around on the back of some great batting performances from Jess Cameron and a combined effort with the ball. Across the WBBL period when the team was depleted due to higher representation the results were mixed. A special mention to Nicola Hancock, Kath Hempenstall, Izzy Westbury and Naomi Dattani who all stood up and took the reigns as captain throughout the season. After the WBBL period, with a consistent team on the field, we were able to win 6 out of 8 games leading into finals. It was a great effort to make finals and the team excited to play the first finals for the women's team at the club. Unfortunately a trip to Frankston to play MCC was unsuccessful despite fighting knocks from Kath Hempenstall, Annabel Sutherland, Alana King and Nicola Hancock. The fight shown by all in that game was fantastic, especially when faced with less than favourable conditions. The experience will no doubt set us up for some wins in the future. There were many highlights for the season. Jess Cameron, the eventual Una Paisley winner, scored 578 runs at an average of 192.67 including 2 centuries. Young gun Annabel Sutherland scored her first Premier Firsts half century. New recruit Alana King took 17 wickets with a best of 5/33 against MCC. International, Naomi Dattani, made 263 runs and took 7 wickets and compatriot Izzy Westbury was handy with the ball taking 15 wickets including 5/16 against Dandenong. Bronwyn Daws was also a great addition to the club with a reliable 14 wickets. With the ongoing commitment of the players and coaches I am sure that there will be much success in the future for the Prahran Cricket Club. On behalf of the women's team we would like to also congratulate the men's teams particularly the Firsts for making the Preliminary final, and thank them for their ongoing support of the women.

Women's 2nd Eleven
The 2015/16 season was definitely a year of change and progress for the Women's P2 team. A lot of new players arrived (including me), as well as a new coach in David Williams. It was evident early on that we had the challenge of not only building new relationships, but also creating a new and positive attitude with the P2 team. The players met this challenge head on, and by the second half of the season things were starting to gel, and we finished the year on a very positive note. I have no doubt that there's nothing but positive progression to look forward to in the coming years. The team had four wins this season which was a huge improvement on only one the season before. Two of those wins saw some brilliant solo efforts, namely Maddy Stirling's unbeaten 77 against Plenty Valley in round 6, and the P1 girls helping us out against Ringwood in round 7 with Naomi Dattani (102*) and Bron Daws 46 and 5/22. The remaining two wins gave us a real indication of what the younger girls coming through the club are capable of. The first, a T20 against Dandenong in round 12 at Toorak Park, was a real team effort. The bowling was nothing short of outstanding, with Ava Bennett 2/4 off 2, Diya Redhu 3/8 off 3, and Maggie McPhee (in her first game back from injury) 4/10 off 3. Although the remaining bowlers didn't get any wickets, they bowled a perfect line & length making it extremely hard for Dandenong to score, and we bowled them out for 72 after 19 overs. Emily Sharkey (10) and Maddie Tobias (9) opened the batting and got us off to a great start. Emily then continued on to have a good partnership with me to get us within striking distance before I got run out. Then the rock Maddy Stirling (11*) came in and guided us home for the win after 18.4 overs. The second win, a one day match again against Dandenong in round 20, was I think our best win of the season. Not only because the young girls performed so well, but also because we only had 9 players on the field. We again bowled first and as we seem to do, everyone really stepped up to make up for the 2 players we were missing. Maya Harrington was superb with 2/17 off 6, Sara Withers chimed in with 2/10 off 4, and Ava Bennett was simply unplayable, ending with the amazing figures of 3/22 off 9. Dandenong were all out for 100 after just 33 overs, a score we were definitely capable of passing. Unfortunately though things didn't start out as planned with us losing a few quick wickets, but then we steadied the ship and got home with 2 overs to spare. As batting is definitely the area we need to improve on, two players really stood out in this game – the first being Verity Whinnerah (in her first season of playing cricket), who was very patient and watchful and stayed in the middle with me for approximately 10 overs. Then the real winner of the day was Alex Clancy (9*), who at only 13 years of age helped guide us home. There were a few games where we were definitely in winning positions at times, and with a bit more experience and understanding of the game, I'm sure we will close those games out next season.

Another highlight of the season I'd like to mention (which was a personal highlight for myself), was the partnership of 163* that Lauren Gooden and I got against Box Hill in round 4. I felt really privileged to be at the other end watching Lauren's superbly dominant knock of 91*, and I'm sure we'll see more partnerships like that in the coming years. I would like to finish by thanking some people: ‐ firstly Peter di Venuto for giving me the opportunity to play Premier Cricket in my "twilight" years. To David Williams and Carl Sandri for selecting me as Captain, which I wasn't too sure about at the start of the season but am so glad that I did take it on. Again to Dave for doing such a great job finding young players via the Development Program, for coaching us and putting up with our crazy ways, and the support and friendship he gave me throughout the season. To Ella Austin and Xenia Clark for their support as two of the older more experienced players ‐ without them working together with me it would have been impossible for us to achieve what we did. I'll mention here also that Xenia Clark bowled superbly all season but unfortunately injury meant she had no more games after round 14. I'm sure I speak for the team as a whole when I say we look forward to having her consistency back on the pitch again next season. To our young girls who filled in throughout the season, namely: Claire Arbuthnot, Sabrina Ting, and Mila Best ‐ who I hope we'll see more of next season along with the other PCC Development Program girls ‐ and of course Evie Stansby and Heidi Pearce, the two 12 year olds who have a very bright future in cricket. And last but definitely not least, I want to thank all of the girls in the team. I think we bonded really well by the end of the season, and it was so great seeing your maturity and skill levels develop throughout the year. There are obvious things we need to work on next season, with batting being at the top of the list, so hopefully we can all get to training on a regular basis and hit those nets running. We will also make progressions with regards to implementing a formal leadership group and mentoring of the younger girls, which will further open up the lines of communication and continue the team bonding process. I'm super excited to see where we progress to in 2016/17. Bring it on!!

Men's 3rd XI
The Prahran Cricket Club Third XI experienced a mixed season with many positive achievements and some more bitter moments but regardless of performance, the morale and atmosphere in the side remained supreme. Over the course of the season 26 players represented the 3rds, 11 teenagers, some more experienced players and of course the coach. In the normal course of events that number is large, but given a number of boys have APS cricket, the injuries over the course of a season and the form of players, change is inevitable. The goal was to create an environment that was mature and understanding so that when the changes in personal occurred, people knew what was expected and to ensure the environment remained clear and uniform. For the most part, I think the other captains (Darian Kuzma and Clint Bricker) and myself achieved that. Amongst the positives was the successful implementation of the one day game. From the 10 white ball matches available, the thirds only lost 3 to finish in the top 4 of the white ball ladder, a fine accomplishment. Through this supremacy with the white ball we saw the best of James Billington with the stick and the rise of Dylan Rhys‐Jones as a wicket taking off spinner, both players having career best seasons for the club. Behind those starring performers we admire the supporting cast of Will Sutherland, Sam Ferguson and James Boyce all whom impressed and got a taste of 2ND XI cricket. The roll on effect of winning was present in these one‐day matches with arguably the matches against Frankston, Dandenong and Footscray all being wins, which were clutched from the jaws of defeat. The two day cricket provided a lot more headaches for the thirds where winning seemed all but impossible at times. Every time we gained momentum, something would always seem to go against us. However, the best thing about being a young side is that we now have experienced the downside of two day and hopefully next season, with a similar group of players, we can adapt and counter these situations more efficiently. Sam Hill and Jarrod Walker worked tirelessly with the red ball and proved a useful combination on the field and a banter filled combination off the field. Two‐day cricket, proper cricket as they say, brought out the best of Clint Bricker as a batsman and as a leader. So impressive were his performances, he managed his first games in the 2nd XI as a genuine batsman. I really hope that everyone who played has the fire to push on and become better again and work towards a successful finals campaign. Hopefully with similar personal and more time together, we can bear the fruits of the talented group we have. A big thank you to the club as a whole, it was a very enjoyable season. Also a big thank you to Peter Di Venuto, Darian Kuzma, Clint Bricker, Paul McMahan and Al Gumley for their help and dedication for their various roles in assisting the 3rd XI and the club as a whole. Men's 4th Eleven
Season 2015/16 was a year of opportunity in the 4th XI. Whilst the win/loss ratio was not probably where we hoped or expected at the beginning of the year, personal and team development was always, and is always, the overarching goal in this grade. Once again we saw youth come to the fore this year and this continues to be the exciting aspect as we look to continue to strengthen the club into the future. On the whole we did have disruption through the year and it is commendable how individuals and the team learnt to adapt to these challenges and always put their best foot forward. Having in excess of 40 players represent the side and a total of 5 different captains throughout the year would give reason to look for excuses, but at no stage did the side look for anything other than to play with the commitment, attitude and camaraderie expected of anyone pulling on a True Blues uniform. I would like to thank those that stood in as captain for a period of time, they each did a fantastic job and I know their leadership was valued by the playing group: • Clinton Bricker • Tom Cameron • Chris Diggle • Jay Kramersh (JK) At a playing level it was fantastic to see our next generation begin their PCC journeys and take the next step. From a batting perspective Oscar Sargeant showed and we were also given a brief glimpse of the talent of Sam Ferguson and Daniel Clarke before they deservedly moved up into higher grades. Tom Sudano had a fantastic first season at the club and excelled with both bat and ball, and JK returning from injuring showed why he has played higher grades of cricket and led wonderfully with bat in hand and in the field as a bowler. The area of improvement for the batters in the future is ability to sustain and build a longer innings; we looked great for short periods of time, but struggled to bat and have consistent partnerships. Our bowling was our strength for the year and we had great depth with Nigel Hunt, Nick Stone, Ben Rantall, Nick Wyngaard, Sudano and Pat Burnell in our pace department bowling consistently game in game out. Our "spin to win" line up of James Peters and Mason Warne, who had a stellar first year for the club, showed strong wicket taking ability and will continue to develop and learn over time. Congratulations to the individual award winners for the season in Oscar Sargeant (Batting), James Peters (Bowling) and Tom Sudano (Fielding) It would be remiss to not thank each and every player who played in the 4th XI, in particularly those that stepped in to help where required, including our overseas import Andy Ward who was a vibrant and great addition to the side.

INDEPENDENT AUDIT REPORT TO THE MEMBERS OF PRAHRAN CRICKET CLUB INCORPORATED
Scope
I have audited the financial statements of the Prahran Cricket Club Incorporated for the year ended 31 May 2016. The Club's Committee is responsible for the preparation and presentation of the financial statements and the information they contain. I have conducted an independent audit of these financial statements in order to express an opinion on them to the members.
The financial statements have been prepared for the purpose of fulfilling the requirements of the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012(Vic). I disclaim any assumption of responsibility for any reliance on this report or the financial statements to which it relates to any person other than the members, or for any purpose other than that for which it was prepared.
My audit has been conducted in accordance with Australian Auditing Standards to provide reasonable assurance as to whether the accounts are free of material misstatement. My procedures included examination, on a test basis, of evidence supporting the amounts and other disclosures in the financial statements, and the evaluation of significant accounting estimates. These procedures have been undertaken to form an opinion as to whether, in all material respects, the financial statements are presented fairly in accordance with the accounting policies adopted by the Committee so as to present a view of the Club which is consistent with my understanding of its financial position and the results of its operations. These policies do not require the application of all Accounting Standards and other mandatory professional reporting requirements in Australia.
The audit opinion expressed in this report has been formed on the above basis.
Qualifications
As an audit procedure it was not practical to extend my examination of income received beyond the accounting for the amounts received and banked as shown by the books and records of the Club presented for audit. This situation is normal for entities of this type.
Qualified Audit Opinion
In my opinion, except for the effects on the financial statements of the matter referred to in the qualification paragraph, the financial statements present fairly in accordance with applicable Accounting Standards the financial position of the Prahran Cricket Club Incorporated as at 31 May 2016 and the results of its operations for the year then ended.
