After visiting the city, we follow towards Monte Verde - The Green Mountain -, the highest point of the island and a natural park, where we will enjoy a breathtaking view of the whole São Vicente. Next we continue towards a picturesque fishing village Salamansa and the beautiful Baía das Gatas, where the famous annual music festival takes place. It is here where we can take a refreshing swim in the Bay followed by lunch. After the lunch we will continue our adventure towards Norte da Baía , enjoying the natural beauty of the island and some viewpoints (white sand dunes, turquoise blue water) Praia Grande that stands out due to its contrast between the white sands and the volcanic rocks, Calhau the extinct volcano, passing through the agricultural area and finally return to the hotel

01 - TOUR DE DIA COMPLETO SÃO VICENTE

Nuestra primera parada tendrá lugar en Fortim d'El Rei para apreciar una magnífica vista panorámica de Mindelo. Luego hacemos un recorrido por la ciudad, teniendo la oportunidad de conocer varios puntos de gran interés: la colorida Avenida Marginal, el Mercado Municipal, la Torre de Belém, el Mercado de Pescado y la Plaza Estrela. Después de visitar la ciudad, seguimos hacia Monte Verde, la montaña verde, el punto más alto de la isla y un parque natural, donde disfrutaremos de una vista impresionante de todo São Vicente. Luego continuamos hacia un pintoresco pueblo pesquero de Salamansa y la hermosa Baía das Gatas, donde se celebra el famoso festival anual de música. 02 – HALF DAY TOUR SÃO VICENTE The first stop is the panoramic point Fortim d'El Rei to appreciate a magnificent panoramic view of Mindelo. 05 - FULL DAY EXCURSION TO SANTO ANTÃO ISLAND In the morning we will pick you up from the hotel and keep you company to the Port of Mindelo to catch a ferry to Porto Novo, the capital of Santo Antão. That is where our adventure with the amazingly green Island will begin. First, we will travel to Cova, an impressive 1100m high crater of volcano and take a short walk along one of the greenest valleys of the island. Alternatively, you can choose to go to Pico da Cruz by car to see the pine forest and enjoy a panoramic view of the Paúl Valley. Then we will follow to Paul and enjoy the lunch. In the afternoon we will visit Ribeira Grande - one of the most beautiful valleys of the Island full of sugar cane plantations, Ponta do Sol - the fisherman village and Fontainhas - known as the second most beautiful village in the World. In the late afternoon, we will return to Porto Novo and jump on the ferry to Sao Vicente. Transfer back to hotel included.

05 - EXCURSIÓN DE DÍA COMPLETO A LA ISLA SANTO ANTÍO Por la mañana lo recogeremos del hotel y lo haremos compañía al Puerto de Mindelo para tomar un ferry a Porto Novo, la capital de Santo Antão. Ahí es donde comenzará nuestra aventura con la isla increíblemente verde. Primero, viajaremos a Cova, un impresionante cráter de volcán de 1100 m de altura y daremos un pequeño paseo por uno de los valles más verdes de la isla. Alternativamente, puede optar por ir a Pico da Cruz en automóvil para ver el bosque de pinos y disfrutar de una vista panorámica del valle de Paúl. Luego seguiremos a Paul y disfrutaremos del almuerzo. 06 - MINDELO CULTURAL EXCURSION Get ready to catch the essence of Cape Verde at every corner! The tour will begin on Avenida 5 de Julho, formerly known as The English Street and the walk will continue to the new Amílcar Cabral Square, Craft Museum and the Cultural Center of Mindelo. We pass by the Eagle Monument, dedicated to the first crossing of the North Atlantic, on the way to the Municipal Market, the People's Palace and the former Military Barracks (now Jorge Barbosa School). Another must-see is certainly the house of Cesária Évora, the " Barefoot Diva ",

El recorrido comenzará en la Avenida 5 de Julho, anteriormente conocida como The English Street y la caminata continuará hasta la nueva Plaza Amílcar Cabral, el Museo de Artesanía y el Centro Cultural de Mindelo. Pasamos por el Monumento del Águila, dedicado al primer cruce del Atlántico Norte, en el camino hacia el Mercado Municipal, el Palacio del Pueblo y los antiguos Cuarteles Militares (ahora Escuela Jorge Barbosa). Otra visita obligada es sin duda la casa de Cesária Évora, la "Diva descalza", y el estudio de Joana Pinto. 07 TREKKING NORTH BAIA – CALHAU This trekking tour will take you to Baía das Gatas with its natural pool, famous for annual musical festival. Heading north, along the road we will discover the beautiful black and white sandy beaches, sand dunes and coves. That’s where you can notice the amazing changes in water color, ranging from sky blue, ocean blue up to turquoise. During the walk it is frequent to see the traditional fishing boats returning from the Ocean. In Vila Calhau, located in between the two volcanoes we will observe solidified lava and amazing scenario of Praia Grande where every year the Body Boarding Championship’s take place. Standing at the heart of Calhau, in the distance we can see the Island of Santa Luzia, the only inhabited island of the archipelago. 07 TREKKING NORTH BAIA - CALHAU Este tour de trekking lo llevará a Baía das Gatas con su piscina natural, famosa por el festival musical anual. Hacia el norte, a lo largo del camino, descubriremos las hermosas playas de arena blanca y negra, dunas de arena y calas. Ahí es donde puedes notar los sorprendentes cambios en el color del agua, que van desde el azul cielo, el azul océano hasta el turquesa. Durante la caminata, es frecuente ver los barcos de pesca tradicionales que regresan del océano. En Vila Calhau, ubicada entre los dos volcanes, observaremos lava solidificada y un escenario increíble de Praia Grande, donde cada año se celebra el Campeonato de Body Boarding. De pie en el corazón de Calhau, a lo lejos podemos ver la Isla de Santa Luzia, la única isla habitada del archipiélago. 09 – TREKKING TO MONTE VERDE We will take the Lameirão road, to the center of the island, where the trail begins to Monte Verde (753m altitude). Along the way you can enjoy the view of almost the entire island. On a clear day, you can see the neighboring islands and islets. 09 - TREKKING A MONTE VERDE Tomaremos la carretera Lameirão, hacia el centro de la isla, donde el sendero comienza a Monte Verde (753m de altitud). En el camino puede disfrutar de la vista de casi toda la isla. En un día despejado, puede ver las islas e islotes vecinos. Excursiones Santo Antao

01 – TOUR OF VALE DO PAUL (Full Day) Starting from Porto Novo (or from the hotel where guests are accommodated), we take the old road, visiting its points of interest such as the Volcanic Crater of Cova and the forest on top of the mountains. From Ribeira Grande we continue our visit to the touristic village of Ponta do Sol, where we will see the Jewish Cemetery, the famous sundial of the old Port, as well as the beautiful Town Hall. Then we travel to Fontaínhas, famous for the fascinating landscape: a combination of sea, mountains, farmlands and cliffs. It was elected by The National Geographic as one of the nicest views of the world. This is where Santo Antão famous group of Contradança (a traditional type of dancing with French influence) is from. After leaving this little village, we return to Ribeira Grande, where we have lunch at Restaurant DIVIN ART, Sounds and Flavours. Then we continue our trip to one of the greenest valleys of the island: Vale do Paúl, where we visit a Traditional Distillery and we can learn a bit about the crushing and handling of sugar cane in the traditional press named ‘Trapiche’. You will have the opportunity to taste and buy various sugar cane products such as ‘Grogue’, punch, molasses, as well as sugar cane syrup. Return to the hotel.

02 – TOUR OF RIBEIRA DA TORRE (Full Day). Starting at Ribeira da Torre, we will pass the aromatic shadow provided by various fruit trees (banana, papaya, mango, breadfruit, etc) on the side of the road. We will continue to Boca de Ambas as Ribeiras where we will run into a type of led, or mini-canal (“levada”), which during the rainy season makes for a refreshing bath. We continue our visit to Lombo da Santa (the Saint’s Loin), a rock in the shape of a Saint, whose mythical story only our guides know. We then will follow to Horta da Garça, a valley covered with sugar cane, mango and papaya trees and a breathtaking landscape where you can take the best pictures of this trip. Lunch picnic in the shadow of banana trees, or at the ‘Restaurant RELAX’ in Boca de Coruja, included in the price. After lunch we will visit a traditional distillery, ‘Trapiche’ where they produce the famous ‘Grogue’. The guide will explain the manufacturing process.

02 - TOUR DE RIBEIRA DA TORRE (Día completo). Comenzando en Ribeira da Torre, pasaremos la sombra aromática proporcionada por varios árboles frutales (plátano, papaya, mango, fruta de pan, etc.) al costado del camino. 03 – TOUR OF RIBEIRA DA CRUZ (Full Day). This day trip leaves from Porto Novo, where all visitors to Santo Antao arrive and depart. After a visit to the most interesting points, such as the Cheese Factory of Porto Novo, we will pass by the Cement Factory with the possibility of participating in a guided tour. We will continue to Ponte Sul, Lajedos, where we will stop later for lunch and visit Chã de Morte, Selada Alto Mira, Ribeira da Cruz, Alto Mira. 04 – VOLCANO TOUR (TREKKING I) Approximately 4 hours trekking. Transfer from the hotel to Cova, an extremely lush crater of an extinct volcano. 05 – LUSH CLIFS AND ROCKY SCULPTURES OF THE NORD COAST (TREKKING III) Approximately 5 hours trekking. Transfer from the hotel to Fontainhas, a place where sea, fields and mountains meet. Here a road begins that takes us through the lush mountains and valleys along the coast with a view over the sea, colourful fishing boats, and the beautiful line of the horizon. We continue to Corvo, where you can have a coffee at Casa of Senhor Manuel. 05 - EXCELENTES ACANTILADOS Y ESCULTURAS ROCOSAS DE LA COSTA NORTE (TREKKING III) Aproximadamente 5 horas de caminata. Traslado del hotel a Fontainhas, un lugar donde se encuentran el mar, los campos y las montañas. Aquí comienza un camino que nos lleva a través de las exuberantes montañas y valles a lo largo de la costa con una vista sobre el mar, coloridos barcos de pesca y la hermosa línea del horizonte. Continuamos hacia Corvo, donde puedes tomar un café en la Casa del Señor Manuel. Luego continuamos a Formiguinhas, donde podemos visitar la escuela y apreciar el entorno verde y abundante de este pueblo. Siguiendo el camino a Praia das Aranhas (Playa de las Arañas), ahora es hora de nadar (dependiendo de la condición del mar), tomar algunas fotos y desempacar su canasta de picnic. 11 – IN THE HEART OF PAÚL VALLEY. A MIX OF SOFT TREKKING AND EXCURSION We start in Porto Novo, or from the hotel where the clients are staying, by the new road on the coast of the island, towards the Paúl County. Along the way, enjoy the Atlantic Ocean with incredible views of the islands of St. Vincent, St. Luzia and St. Nicolau. Our first stop is in Pontinha de Janela, in the oldest lighthouse in Cape Verde, the Fontes Pereira de Melo Lighthouse, or 'Farol de Boi' as it is known locally. Inaugurated in 1886, the lighthouse served to signal the Canal between Santo Antão and São Vicente. There we invite you to climb up to the lighthouse and give yourself away with the exuberant view of the rocky slope, the village of Janela and the City of As Pombas. From there we continue to Paúl, entering its wonderful valley, one of the greenest of Cape Verde. UNA MEZCLA DE TREKKING Y EXCURSIÓN SUAVE Comenzamos en Porto Novo, o desde el hotel donde se hospedan los clientes, por la nueva carretera en la costa de la isla, hacia el condado de Paúl. En el camino, disfrute del Océano Atlántico con increíbles vistas de las islas de San Vicente, Santa Luzia y San Nicolau. Nuestra primera parada es en Pontinha de Janela, en el faro más antiguo de Cabo Verde, el faro de Fontes Pereira de Melo o 'Farol de Boi', como se le conoce localmente. Inaugurado en 1886, el faro sirvió para señalar el Canal entre Santo Antão y São Vicente. Allí te invitamos a subir al faro y regalarte con la exuberante vista de la ladera rocosa, el pueblo de Janela y la ciudad de As Pombas. Desde allí continuamos hacia Paúl, entrando en su maravilloso valle, uno de los más verdes de Cabo Verde.
